This is... insane! We go from 6-8 reactors in volume 2, to over a dozen-in-a-half by volume 3 to more than double of that this time around with volume 4. It's kinda scary!

Something I only just thought about, comparing this to the original Red Trailer. Years later, so, (raspberry). Anyway, younger Ruby needed to use Crescent Rose’s gun feature to have enough slashing power to kill the pack of Beowolves. Current Ruby is actually strong enough to cut down-most-Grimm without needing the gun. Goes to show how much stronger Ruby has become, after the cluster-f--- that was the end of Volume 3. Yay for the adorkable!

Seems like half these reactors make these videos just to hear themselves talk. MurderofBirds actual reacts and doesn't talk constantly, same with the other three in his corner, Claudio, the girl in the Weiss hat, and only a few others.

Sure, I cannot animate as good as this, so my opinion is an uneducated one, but the fighting animation in this short and most of the fight scenes in the volumes after this is really dodgy. Really does not flow well and the excessive amount of camera movement does not help at all. You can take a still camera shot of a scene and it will look amazing, sure, but the animation here is honestly not that good IMO, it more resembles a game cutscene and at some times, literally resembling gameplay (like at 2:08, that just seems really lazy). If they took out most of the camera movement, it would probably improve.
The animation in slice of life areas, and non combat interactions are very good, amazing even. Even some combat scenes look really good, but for the most part they are not.
Again, my opinion is an uneducated one and I cannot animate anything so I do not fully understand how hard animation is, and I am sure it is hard, but to me I just felt it was lacking. Some may feel that the animation and camera movement is good. I do not.
