Awesome doc. I learned to ski there in ‘76-77. We’d take the bus from Northgate mall. If I recall the chairlift didn’t have a safety bar and was pretty high up so it took me awhile to get the courage to take it.
I lived here late 90s early 2000s, it was in ok shape while living there was getting pretty trashed right till it was brought down tho. We lived in the apartments on the bottom level of chalet over looking lake . I'm sure the building should have been condemned but we survived . Lol The Camp ground was still operational. Summers were fun and busy, winters was good fishing and hauling our tube's and snowboard up the hill to go down. The chalet was creepy and haunted as F . as young teen girls we would meet camper boys and take them to chalet and scare them !! Lolll Good memories and bad at that place.
My uncle worked there and was a ski intrusion. We’re farmers in this area and if this still existed it would be a 3 minute drive from my house. So sad it shut down.
Very sad. It probably still has the potential if an investor were to rebuild the ski slopes (water for the snowmaking will never be an issue). But probably will never happen.
This has been privately owned by a family for YEARS now. You should consider adding that in. Otherwise this will spark even more trespassing which will lead to theft and vandalism.
I learned to ski here when I was 12. My school drove us over an hour each way for a week. So grateful that they did that. I also lived 1.6 km from this site from 2008-2018. Thanks for the video!

Excellent video, thanks. I was a ski instructor at Lake Eden 76-79. So much fun, great memories!
I learned to ski there, probably in the late 80ish
This area looked beautiful. Such a shame it's gone now...
Thanks for answering my long pondered question
Who owns that insane massive house(that’s not on gps) north of yellow head between range road 14 and 15

Went there many times growing up including school trips. Thanks for posting. Would you be doing Crystal Resort in West Kelowna?
I actually don't have enough photos/information of Crystal, though I would love to do an episode if I were able to get more information.

Yes very well. The old stuff is no longer. They have cattle now. They do not allow people on the land.

Yeah it’s a biker gang that owns it.
