If this hobby wasn't literally thousands of pounds in terms of expensive I would absolutely invest in it. I hardly make minimum wage, let alone being able to spend it.
Nice vid and a very handsome model. I very much like the blue livery, even though other liveries are available. I'm also appreciative of the amount of work you do in promoting gauge 1. Regards from Germany!
Hello, May I ask if the loco is finished in a gloss or satin paint finish? Does it come fitted with radio control or is that an option? What are the brand of coaches is she pulling? With my thanks, Tim
Beautiful! Absolutely Beautiful! Just a question, how do they make a radio controlled live steamer? does the RC controls move the regulator and blow the whistle and stuff like that? I'm confused
Same gauge, different scale. G scale is typically anywhere from 1/29th (representing standard gauge on 45mm track) to 1/20.3rd (representing 3-foot gauge on 45mm gauge track), with 1/22.5th being a popular scale within this range (representing meter-gauge on 45mm gauge track. 1 Scale is always 1/32nd, supposedly representing standard gauge on 45mm gauge track but actually being more proportionate to 5ft gauge on 45mm gauge track. G has pretty much completely taken over 45mm gauge as the main scale for that gauge, due to its heavy focus on narrow gauge and subsequently smaller footprint due to needing smaller track radii (G scale can actually fit in a smaller space than Proto48 spec O scale). 1 Scale is effectively the realm of handcrafted museum-quality brass models. There's also 16mm scale which represents 2ft gauge on 45mm gauge track, and is almost exclusively live-steam focused - the Accucraft Talyllyn is a good example of 16mm scale.
Ari n Stuff acutally yes...the Märklin Br 78 410...which is apparently the exact model used for the chassis of Henry for the show...close enough...if I find anything else I'll let you know..
Collecting rainwater is only an issue in the US if you're using it as your main water source, since legislation here requires a fresh water connection (either well or city water) for home conditions to be considered livable. If you're collecting rainwater for "graywater" usage (irrigation, hobby usage, etc.) then there's no issue.
Yup. Steam locomotives are controlled via valves, which can be actuated by servos. There's also RC cars and planes (and even some custom built locomotives) that are powered by tiny internal combustion engines.
That iconic black smoke is actually something you generally don't want to see coming from a steam loco. It means there's a lot of soot in the exhaust and as such you're burning fuel extremely inefficiently and clogging your fire tubes. What you want to see is a lot of thick white smoke on acceleration (which means it's mostly steam) and then very little smoke when cruising.
I just love live steam trains. Couldn’t help but notice all the wheel slip from all that power! Thanks for sharing this video!
An absolutely beautiful model, more so it is also a running live steam version. :)
This is why I love steam locomotives in HO Scale in US and European Versions

Such a beautiful engine and great work on the inside of the boiler and cab and the fact it is a real life steam engine
those tiny things are really cute., powerful, and worth all the work.
A brilliant locomotive. Great video
Yes another good video of yours Peter I have view'd very informative . And yes your catch fraze says it all.
Thank you for yur kind comments. Pete
I love accucraft. The made a Sandy River model and it’s gorgeous just like this one. Might make a layout one day who knows
Is the is construction of this locomotive basically just a scaled down version of the real thing?
Beautiful locomotive
brilliant video great model loco what is the difference between motor oil and steam oil i have never heard the expression steam oil
Simply marvelous!!🤩🤩..👍
How much did it cost??? We used to build this stuff
Thanks for the video. Can these live steam models run slowly, at scale speeds? I always seem to see them running very fast.
Yes indeed. We even hold slow running competitions!

I bet those tend to be dominated by Shays and other geared locos.
Hello, May I ask if the loco is finished in a gloss or satin paint finish? Does it come fitted with radio control or is that an option? What are the brand of coaches is she pulling?
With my thanks,

Is this where the show The Addamms Family filmed their model RR scenes where Gomez would crash two trains on the same track?
Very realistic driving, just like 532 Blue Peter.
Mind yer rods!
That is a fast little blue engine!
Where can one of these trains be bought from or best site to buy from?
Hello, can you tell me where you can buy this model of locomotive?
Accucraft.
how wonderful!! beautiful effect, beautiful garden! Can you tell me how much a locomotive like this would cost in the UK? thank you!
£20,000
Liked all day long videos
Liked all gauge one videos
The train is running smoothly on the track
Fantastic
Jolly good show!
Where did you buy this one? I kind of want one to spice up my garden.
To spice up your garden what you need is Cinnamon, Cardamon, Ginger, and Chilli Powder.
Sir Is this really running on steam or you just fit a motor inside it
How cool is this. Wow
Mattias Persson thought the engine was rear heavy she seemed to bounce on bumps and swivel on the centre axel
Beautiful! Absolutely Beautiful! Just a question, how do they make a radio controlled live steamer? does the RC controls move the regulator and blow the whistle and stuff like that? I'm confused
Lovely loco. Never been keen on gas as don't like the jet engine sound. Coal is much more skilled and interesting
that is one beautiful engine, especially the drive gear
Where can buy this loco?
So pretty! ❤
VERY GOOD CONTENT SIR. SPIK AND SPAN I WOULD SAY OLD BEAN
Bro I want this model detailed drawings
How can I get?
Where does he get the money from
Where can I find one of those?
I am curious if Scale G is the same as Scale 1.
G Scale is a scale just gauge 1 is smaller than it
Same gauge, different scale.

So much nicer than seeing a massive human being riding on the coal car.
Very good
Very nice
I really like this model, does it come in an electric model? or does anyone know of another company that makes an electric model of this?
Ari n Stuff guage 1 specifically??...
yes, I would like to modify one to look like Gordon from Thomas and friends to match the Bachmann models, or something similar.
Ari n Stuff hhmmm...not. sure...
Ari n Stuff acutally yes...the Märklin Br 78 410...which is apparently the exact model used for the chassis of Henry for the show...close enough...if I find anything else I'll let you know..
the other problem though would be finding this locomotive as well (though yes I need to make Henry as well)
how much did one of these cost
'Great' that's about $5000 Aud, and my postage is going to be huge in cost as well.
WHERE DO MR GET THIS TH8NGS
I WANT ONE
I use filtered rain water" Most people in America:damnit!

You’re a TH-cam expert aren’t you you?
Looks great but the stop start looks very clunky.
I subscribed model trains are the best
Bachamann should take an idea from this locomotive an use it to make a large scale Gordon!!!!
I don't know about what you're saying but this is too cool!!!!! !!!!😉😊😀😁😂😃😅😃😆😅😇😇😃

A lovely loco pity about the blue.
No doubt they are available is LNER Livery.
Yes. LNER Green, BR Green, and Experimental Blue. What do you mean, the blue is lovely!
Good
There was a lot of wheel slip from tornado
Doesn't seem very controllable at low speed.
Have a look at this video. We had more time on this day. th-cam.com/video/7yy8EFd7DNg/w-d-xo.html
Needs Slomo.

What is live steam
Means that it is a model locomotive that is actually powered by steam - as opposed to steam effects
Hi peater i nedd this live steam engine
Express coming through
So is nobody going to talk about how choppy the frames are?
Say hello to the real world gordon
Gordon: hi everyone
There is no D in locomotive
Steam locomotives by radio controlling!?Is there really?
Yup. Steam locomotives are controlled via valves, which can be actuated by servos. There's also RC cars and planes (and even some custom built locomotives) that are powered by tiny internal combustion engines.
Gordon!!!!!!
no, gordons a a4
Hunter Stowe nope spencer is a a4 and Gordon a a0 that’s a mix between an a1 and a3 so the first comment wasn’t far off
Brandon Pepper it a0
It isn’t Gordon.
I am the fastest! - said Gordon
AKA DAYLIGHT
There's alot of wheel slip
Wow
It’s Thomas the tank engine!
Sadly there's no beautiful black smoke from this train

Those dislikes are from jealous people
Or rivet counting assholes who are pissed that the cylinders aren't exactly the right size.

Awful gas sound
I have a live steam version of this locomotive in T scale (0.61mm - 1'ft scale)
Doesn't seem very controllable at low speed.
