Yeah can wait to see the results of the video "Biaheza Corp. Traded Publicly For A Week And This Is How Much It Made" At this rate, that's exactly what he'll be doing in the future
The IV has been stable since he bought in. The problem is that Biaheza bought into a stock that had low liquidity and volume. When biaheza bought his calls he owned 70% of the calls at the strike price. The big price for those calls at the time were $0.00 And the ask was $0.90 On Robinhood it looked like the prices were up by a lot but that was only because the ask price went up The bid price went from $0.00 to $0.00 Biaheza just giving money to the market makers
@@gidd nah it’s definitely entertaining to see what people watch and think works lmao , but he has no risk management whatsoever. He takes trades and then just has no plan to when he buys or sells. Let’s some things go +60% without selling, buys options where the volume isn’t enough to have someone buy it from him even if it did work out, let’s things lose 100%. Like I said it’s entertaining though for sure
Lmao seriously. Entertaining video and I know he doesn’t usually trade options, but my dude really bought an option with insane IV then chalked it up as a “glitch” 😂 Like what?
you shouldnt take insiders selling stocks seriously at all unless its a suspiciously large amount all at once. most ceos and executives have a scheduled selling pattern which is how they make their money because theyre salaries arent nearly as high as the amount of stock they own. if executives are buying stock in their own company thats much more significant.
So what happened with LRMR is that implied volatility was pumped up massively. Tie that with the fact you have weekly expiration instead of the 8/20 expiration. Theta and IV decay destroyed your premiums and potential to profit!
Robinhood sets the price to $.01 whenever there's no liquidity, so the chain was just dryer than a desert. But yeah weekly expiration wasn't the smoothest move
Impied vol wasn't the problem. It was the low liquidity for the calls he bought. Biaheza owned 70% of the calls at the 12.5 strike price. The prices where jacked up by a market maker and biaheza took the bait
@@Nactate He most likely bought the calls on 07/07/21 and the IV was 113.31% the bd was $0.00 and the ask was $0.90. The iv over the next few days went down because they got closer to expiration but that was only by 2-3%
Ayeee great vid bro keep it up fam! To whoever is reading this never give up on trading and keep pushing that’s the only way you’ll ever reach succes in trading!
It would be amazing if you could elaborate on how to go about “diving deeper” and gaining more factual data about a certain stock and take us through your analysis. For example after you checked out the insider tool, what does checking into the company’s market cap do for you? And after you see the market cap where do you go to see the companies stability or lack there of. This process would be perfect for a lot of the general public that’s unaware of how important “DD” is and how detrimental your trades can be without the knowledge of how to do so.
This is where fundamental analysis comes into play. I would personally dive into a value investing philosophy since it has a proven track record of making people millions of dollars. Folks like Warren Buffett and even DeepFuckingValue who made millions from the whole GameStop debacle. In fact, DeepFuckingValue (roaring kitty on youtube) has hours and hours of videos where he shows you how he "dives deeper". I mean this is free education coming from someone who made millions on the stock market. That's where I would start.
idk if I never noticed, but the setup is awesome! Really interesting premise, I'd love to see something similar with whale orders (not just CEOs/CFOs/etc, but just large orders)!
11:20 that isn’t an “option glitch” when an option is up by 10,000% the IV is also up an insane amount. When the iv drops back to normal your contract loses an insane amount of value. You must have bought after earning or something.
What an interesting experiment indeed! I dunno if insider selling / buying should be what one primarily trades off of, but the info can definitely be an extra bit of helpful information to know when trading / investing! Sleek editing, as always!!
The thing is, the data is not fast. They sell the market goes down at the exact moment, then they might sell or they might buy and never sell again. The data we get is delayed to the point where you get the general idea of the CEOs who have money in their hands, they're not the big day trader but the CEO of companies. Generally speaking, we get the idea but just for the idea, chartreading is just enough
that glitched is called implied volatility for those who don’t know. whenever volatility increases for the underlying stock, the option contracts increase in value and vice versa. hope this helps and happy trading 🙂
The IV has been stable since he bought in. The problem is that Biaheza bought into a stock that had low liquidity and volume. Bro love it, would love to help roll out the options buying a little bit on timing, understanding the spreads with open interest tired to the delta and time decay
I have a suggestion. Option prices are tied to Implied Volitility which is the fear factor in the markets. IV is the fear index. So on calls the IV goes down and so do the prices of calls. Even though the stock might go significantly higher the calls will not gain that much. This is very apparent the next day after earnings release, IV crashes. On the other hand IV for puts always increases as IV/fear factor goes up so do the put prices. So you will always make more money on puts. Good luck. Love this video series. Keep em coming.
Bh, You need to pair this up with volume profiles and liquidity in auction market theory. This is probably the best you can do with this knowledge my man.
FYI, the “glitch” you saw were illiquid options. Meaning, there was probably such a high bid-ask spread that the prices displayed on Robinhood were inaccurate (the mark price). Also, the options lost a lot of value quickly because they were pushed very far out-of-the-money and they expire this week!

Exactly
When you trade oil you need to look at what wti crude is doing, and take profits when your up 68% on an option because it is pretty volatile.
68% is pretty good, I would definitely close a large part of the position to secure the profits and take money off the table/lower risk.
