Tubes are more resilient than you'd think, I've got an elbit tube and have had a few lasers shined directly into them. No blackboxing or anything and it's lead to zero blemishes.
Now while I obviously care about the tube, lets say you are using monocular and it hits your other eye. Are you really that screwed? I've been hit in the eye with Chinese lasers a couple of times but still have full 20/20. Maybe I'm lucky but I always hear that FP lasers cause horrible damage to the eye.
Was this a legit field? Or a field of just you and friends playing? Do mil sim events prevent the use of High Power on lasers? hahhaha i would hate to get back into airsoft for my expensive noodles to tkae a shit because someone pointed a laser right at my face hahahah
Normally the site will only allow red lasers, but they know people will be using IR lasers with night vision, most sites will just turn a "blind eye" to it as most people who use night vision will be mature enough to understand how to properly use lasers safely@@Kaotix_music
Corn field maze seems interesting to play in
Nod’s probably saved your eye at 20mw
does it lead to any damage on the tube?
Interestingly no it didn’t
@@senator7352Probably thanks to a combination of Auto-gaiting on the tube and a weaker civilian grade laser.

@@TheMsdos25it was a full power 20mw chinesium laser
@@senator7352 damn, guess photonis really does have good auto-gating.

Was he using binos or a mono? Would be really afraid of an unprotected eye catching that fp laser.
No it didn’t

Oh no!
I've been wondering about that.
