I heard this song for the first time LIVE I got really into them when I listened to Songs Of Innocence and I went to see them at the Forum in LA this was one of their first songs and it really tells a story about what they are all about! I felt amongst my own when I heard this song... U2 fans are a Tribe!
thIS is so awesome! I live in the SF Bay Area and was at both San Jose shows last month, Plus Las Vegas and Los Angeles following that and now I'm in DC for Sunday and Monday night's show and then going to NY for the MSG shows, I'm totally OUt of Control,.... kinda like the couple in the front row of this video! Glad they have a great time. God Bless! U2 Rocks!
Like most people I listened to this concert in the car. What a great crowd and venue. BTW-- The People In Front were out of control and having a great time in the front row.
sjgomez, you rock my friend!! I hope you enjoyed the moments as much as we are enjoying your view! I will be at MSG and all I can say is, RED FLAG DAY!
Yes Ill be there on the 19th in Manchester. Hopethey play this and raised bywolves. Tey played it first few shows then droppee it. Whereis te Apollo anyone.
Great stuff. It's obvious from the multiple pro cameras present that the reason the band played the Apollo Theater was to have an intimate venue in which to shoot for their next tour DVD. Guess I'm buying...
Feeling out of control since you turn me up Jesus you rent the heavens our light you flash with power awesome power your energy can be felt everywhere Jesus frees us up with his key to the knowledge of the the truth feeling free as the turning of the key has been given to messed up me bleeding sounds of mercy cover me up with the blood of Jesus thank for your mercy seat El.
Myself and my wife would have been those 'two nit wits', as we are with every music venue we're fortunate to experience, as the tough guys and frightened souls sit idle by tapping their toes, barely alive....
Bono has gained quite a bit of weight! Must be that feminist diet he's on! He's got child bearing hips now. The music will not be denied fortunately as politics and misguided ideologies melt away under The Edge's perfect riffing, Adam Clayton's steady rhythm and Larry Mullen's atomic clock accuracy.
This song is such a banger, never heard a bad version of it.
Absolutely not great call
Edge is such an upbeat rocker as well as fabulous guitarist

The best Band ! The Egde Monster
But I think the Edge has been an underrated guitarist for a long time no one has a sound like that
Yep. He made his own trademark sound and style without needing crazy solos.

Rez What about Brian May?

Wonder if Bono in 2040 on stage (if Still alive) changes the lyrics to:
"Monday morning, 80 years of dawn and I say How Long..."
