- Kingdom: Legendary War (킹덤) is a television program known as the male counterpart of Queendom, and the sequel of Road to Kingdom.
The program is a battle behind six trending K-pop boy groups. The program features 4 rounds of performances, with the final round being broadcast live.
This is episode felt like watching a movie with all the incredible presentations from the groups. First The Boyz showcased a dramatic portrayal of their song 'No Air', then we jumped into iKon's musical medley of 'Love Scenario', & 'Killing Me'. Finally BtoB's finished with a historic take of 'Missing You'.

I started watching Kingdom because I had just gotten into Stray Kids. But... The Boyz have stolen my heart. Each round, their performances just blow me away and then when I went to check out their performances from Road To Kingdom, it was clear why they won and made it to Kingdom Legendary War.
Actually the boyzs company (creker ent) is one of the small companies in kingdom. Like they are literally a small company but they are willing to do everything they can do when it comes to the boyz.
As they should!! I may be biased but I think the groups with the small companies are doing a better job with the stage! You can see they really put effort
The Boyz are from Creker which is a small company and is a subsidiary of kakao M. Their company building is shared with other companies. The Boyz joined road to kingdom which was for less known groups and won which gave them a pass to join kingdom. If you check their rtk performances, most of their props were very simple and minimal like chairs and tables. I feel like because it’s kingdom Creker tried to spend more since they’re competing with bigger groups.
9:37 the official mv and song is sooo different it's actually more of a summer edm track which is what made this performance so much more captivating. the way they made a regular pop song into something so epic shows how artistic they truly are! and this is what they did during road to kingdom too, they remixed their songs to tell beautiful stories! they truly are concept masters lmao
the boyz are actually from a small company themselves (Cre.Ker ent.) and are the only group under the label, however Cre.Ker is funded (?) by a different label which is why they are able to do all these crazy things - I think from ep 3 and on they had a 5k cap for their performances
even if there is no budget issue, i don't think cube will release a big budget for btob.. hahahaha
even though Seo Eunkwang is one of the director. They will just go there and collect dongsaengs....
The Boyz actually do come from a small company, especially compared to most of the other groups on this show. They won their way into this competition by pure talent but it's still gonna be hard for them since their fanbase is not on the same level as the other's. It's very apparent in the global voting...
I think the budget issue started with a miscommunication where some groups knew there was a budget but thought they could freely re-use props and set pieces from previous performances without it counting toward their limit (later I think mnet increased the limit, but it was too late to fix the problem for round 1). The set pieces Stray Kids stand on together during this round (23:51) were clearly re-used from their Dionysus performance.
To clarify, the budget issue is related to Mnet communication issues. Originally all 6 groups thought they had a budget limit. Later, Mnet changed their minds and decided that there shouldn't be any budget limit. However, they told it to only 3 groups (by the performances, most likely the 3 groups are The Boyz, Stray Kids, and Ateez). Mnet attributed the issue to miscommunication (though, it's kinda debatable if it's truly miscommunication or purposely done to get attention through controversy).
The groups with the smallest/ less known company are The Boyz & Ateez, who clearly had high budget performance; so, it's not a question of the company being able to afford high budget performances or not.
Especially since Ikon (who is from YG, a big 3 company), BtoB, who is also from a major entertainment company (CUBE) didn't use much budget for this performance.
Also, apparently only 1 group actually surpassed the original budget limit although 3 groups were informed of the removal of the budget limit (according to some articles in Naver, though I'm not sure if it's accurate).

What happened with the budget was that there was a limit that latter on was changed but only a few of them were noticed about that change
To clarify that hand in the boys performance is a real girl hand they are 2 girl if im not mistaken that 2 girls is in the back of the camera man running with the camera man all the time of the part and the confution of you that the camera is in the shoulder is it not they have a camera man who took all the performance

Uhmmm, about the controversy i hope u can actually get facts first before speaking on the matter. Its all about how the mnets management handled the communication in all groups end. In all fairness if u actually asking about not all teams could afford a staging like that, funny cuz the boyz is actually a company that has only one boy group and prolly the smallest among all teams. As a summary, all teams can afford a budget like so its just that mnets are just plain snakes just to stir up drama and controversy for more views. Thank u.
