Personally I think Drug Wars is more like a C tier. Yes the campaign was absolutely horrible, but the acid lab pulls it out of D tier for me. The sell missions are actually really fun and the pay isn’t bad either.

The Contract DLC should have been top tier as it has some of the best Payout's going. The agency is a great purchase in online. The main story $1mill about 1 hours work, less of a lockout than Cayo if it was soloed and works extremely well if you pair the two up whilst one is on lockdown. The payphone hits $15,000 or 45,000 if you do the optional bonus payout has been nerfed but the lockout timer was reduced to 10 minutes. Security contracts quick little missions pay 30,000 to 70.000 and most can be done in around 5 minutes or less. The agency office safe will generate $500 per 48 minutes for every 5 cumulative security contracts you have done maxing out a $20,000 per 48 minutes doing the 200 security missions no only gets you millions from doing all those missions it will also increase the daily passive income. Then there's Imani tech, the armoury which is your own Ammunation where you can actually buy body armour and also carries a discount for the owner. some fast travel (i use to get to north of map quickly) a free helicopter that is also storable in your hanger.
Nah for real. the agency is one of the most solo friendly updates ever❤ I hope the Rockstar doesn't forget about Imani and they bring her to GTA 6 because she is still young and she has potential for a new NPC 🤷 same as Sessanta to be honest, If she were to lose KJ.
Personally, I have only been able to play the very short and easy Lamar Missions. I have been stuck on the 4 player mission for months because nobody plays it. Sadly I will have to get friends to finish it, at least thats what I have noticed on the PC version

hard to have faith in a tier list that places the OG heists so high when they had a terrible release and didn’t age well. not to mention their lack of existence was an aesthetic barrier for gta onlines launch, giving players nothing to work towards for a good year or two before they released. normally i’d commend an update that turns the game around, but really heists was an update that should have been say 1 content. also, it created a new militarized meta that rockstar refuses to drop, making further small crime updates feel like dog water. “cool low rider. watch what my hydra does to it.” i’m not much more passionate than that though. i’m just commenting for the algorithm

The hanger business has got better due to some upgrades it got The land missions are very solo friendly and can be done with any vehicle. However due to the bulk selling bonus do not use Rooster to source your items as he gets random goods and can ruin a bonus on your selling stock Also as the hanger does not get raided you can build up your stock over time and just leave it there till a bonus week and last time it was on double money, with a 70% bulk selling bonus in a full public lobby you can get just under $9,000,000 and the land sell missions are easy If you get the truck option you can use your Phantom Wedge or your MoC cab which are faster trucks that the one your supplied with.
Just my opinion but the Heist update should be S tier. The original Heights are still the most engaging of all of the heist updates and are still surprisingly fun to play. On top of that we also received some of the best weaponized vehicles in the game that were staples for years. Even past the Doomsday Heist, people were still using things like the Savage, Hydra, HVY Insurgent, and Kuruma armored. While most of these vehicles have been power crept by today, they were prevalent for years.
I’m a single player guy too. I tried the island dlc for online but had a couple hundred thousand dollars I needed to start it and I don’t like grinding so I skipped that one. After years I played some of Dexters (annoying guy) missions and I actually loved it because it was stupid and the gameplay was straight forward. Felt like those single player interlude missions. I did also make and play lots of races. Overall great memories of GTA V. It was and always will be goated.
I have not seen a single gta online tier list that mentions the most buggy area in the game that is responsible for wasting casino heist player's time, the mantrap. Odds are that if you play the casino heist 3-4 times, one of those times your session will disconnect while in the mantrap, making every minute you spent completing a perfect vault run futile. Unreal that Rockstar has never addressed this massive issue🙄
21:14 yeah the payout is good, if you don't get kicked out of the heist while running through the fxcking mantrap. It's a 1/4 chance that the casino heist will disconnect which makes it so hard to want to ever play it.

But I'll agree, Drug Wars sucked. I always thought Lester was the worst GTA Online character, but holy mother - Dax is probably the most obnoxious character there is. Especially since he just belittles us as the player at every chance he gets. "Freshmeat" ... I've been at this crap for 10 years, I wish I could off him.

What about the entire doomsday heist? Try doing that without lester. He's annoying but he does a bunch of stuff that Pavel for example doesn't do. Look at the heists he plans and runs. They (cannonicly) go off with no problem.
I only use the oppressor mk 2 for doing missions or if I have to do something really fast. I'm not like those annoying kids blowing everyone up for no reason
the most recent updates (2023-2024) are so forgettable. you can tell rockstar has all hands on VI and are only making gta online updates just to keep it on life support until VI's online comes up.
It is worth playing once for the two rewards you get for hosting both the first and last dose missions. Unless you already have good ways to make money and don't really need the acid lab which can get you 500k in public lobby for every 3 / 4 hours. The supercar you get from the last does is nice as an Imani tech car. Some of the missions from the first does and last dose are ok and have a bit of a challenge but there are also ones that are just reskinned versions of story mode missions and although two other missions are basically a novelty, however Dax is annoying.
Arena is tye worst DLC to gta online: - expansive shitty arena cars that can't even drive straight. - boring (and unplayable on PC) + new garage + cerberus Drug wars were not that bad. I don't like the contract, but Franklin and Lamar is fun. If there is 3x or 2x money on Tunners it is very good way to make money. Bottom dollar bounties suck.

I don't remember everything but I'm pretty sure this was the update when they added stancing and drifting. You were also able to have different types of vehicle race classes based on what you were in. You also pull off some "fast and furious style" small heist that doesn't take a long time to set up and is extremely single player friendly. You can even buy out the two mechanics and make background income, unlimited free snacks, a place where you can store your cars, a place where you can spawn, a place where you can change your custom weapon loadout, and to this day the auto shop is still home of the legendary solo merge glitch where is a car you want is on display to be delivered you can merge whatever modded Wheels tires or colors you want onto that car if you want to buy it. The auto shop is just straight up useful for anyone that is a car person 🤷 it's also one of those things that you just end up doing for fun overtime but will find yourself doing a lot of IMO.
