    Please the application letter says that if the course you wish to study does not follow your educational history you should give a valid reason for the change of the course with evidence of supporting documents,so my question is that let's say am coming in for bachelor program ,where I only have Secondary school certificate and I want to change my course for a different one so am I going to do the exactly what is stated there or am not

    Great video but my question is what happens if a person forget his/her school receipt but has all other documents including the acceptance which state that complete fees have been paid and would the embassy ever reach out to the school to confirm , could it lead to refusal

    Hello Education Ireland., Pertaining to the finances my sponsor has opted to use the education bond as proof of living expense for me. I didn't really get Mr. David's explanation on that but if you can help me understand well. Does my sponsor still require to provide bank statements?

    Do I need to provide the background check (police clearance certificate) while applying for the student visa? In addition, as my PhD is fully funded at UCD with the living stipend of 18,500 euros per annum, do I have to demonstrate the bank balance?

    Hello Education Ireland, last week I have received my provisional letter from Ireland College. Now the college is requested me to pay the full amount in order to send my full acceptance letter. So can I have two sponsors, it means my brother and his friend. Is it possible my brother is remain my sponsor when my brother's friend is covered the full amount of the course.

    • @EducationinIrelandAfrica
      @EducationinIrelandAfrica  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, habtom Teklay.
      Please note that if you make your brother's friend a sponsor you must be able to establish why he wants to sponsor your education. It may be easier if your brother's friend can transfer the funds to your brother so that your brother becomes your sole sponsor.

    The school in Ireland where I have applied has given me a supporting letter as waiver for IELT when i showed them my English proficiency document from my previous college.......They want to help me in this way because of starting date of the course , because writing and waiting for IELTS result will delay my visa application.My question is , do i stand the chance of getting the visa?

    • @EducationinIrelandAfrica
      @EducationinIrelandAfrica  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is a question for the Visa office. To be on the safe side, it is recommended that you sit for an English test. The minimum standard of English for visa purposes is set out in the English language requirements for study visas document here >> www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-study-in-ireland/english-language-requirements-for-study-visas/

      I will advise you to write Duolingo. It’s more easier and cheaper. The result comes out in 48 hours. Ireland embassy accepts Duolingo.

      Hello Kemi. Thanks for your comment. If he is yet to apply for an Irish visa, he should do so right away. And yes, you can be his sponsor. He must be able to prove his relationship with you. • @EducationinIrelandAfrica

      If you are a scholarship student and your college is covering your costs, the Irish visa office will likely ask for a letter stating that.

    Does your ban in UK affect your visa? In Ireland

    • @EducationinIrelandAfrica
      @EducationinIrelandAfrica  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not necessarily. However, I must let you know that this is strictly a question for the Visa office. It is advised that you mention every detail of your ban in your application - why it happened and your side of the story. If you miss out any details in your application, your chances may decrease because the Visa office will most likely know.

    Hello Education Ireland, my visa application hasn’t come out and my school has resumed, this is the 2nd weeks and I am advised to deferred to February. My question is if the visa comes out, can it be valid till January? This is my 7th week of waiting 😢

    • @EducationinIrelandAfrica
      @EducationinIrelandAfrica  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rabiat Toyin. This is actually a question for the visa office. What I will recommend is for you to talk directly to the visa officers at our face-to-face event. I invite you to attend our next fair taking place in Abuja, Lagos, Accra and other African cities. Click educationinireland.africa/edufairs/listings to see more information.

    • @Kelly-iz4pw
      @Kelly-iz4pw ปีที่แล้ว

      If your school automatically deferred your admission to February. Then inform to to notify the Ireland immigration authorities so that you can use same visa to come to Ireland. Because my school advised us to notify them if our visa comes out late. So that they can notify the Ireland immigration authorities. So that we don’t need to do a new visa .

I've been reading the same on non EU students having no right to bring in family based on family reunification. it did however indicate that there are exceptions to that part for PhD students and students with sufficient funds to cater for their family. I read further and also looked at the amounts although those were mainly for skilled workers (family reunification). if I have sufficient funds to cover my studies plus those additional funds, could I be allowed in this case?
