      Coffee is too acid and pulls calcium out of the bones. The right pure foods do help, but your mind can heal your body and keep it young.

When making hot chocolate for its health benefits, using milk can provide additional nutrients like calcium, while water keeps it lighter. this is huge. kryon speaks of informing your cell telemiers to shorten more slowly. (absent our instructing our body cells they just reproduce themselves identically automatically to their previous shape except the telemiers are shorter each time causing aging but they are open to being instructed how to reproduce)

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

      The concept you're touching on-impacting the length of telomeres, which are the protective caps on the ends of our chromosomes, through lifestyle choices-is indeed a fascinating and growing area of research in the field of longevity and health. Telomeres naturally shorten as we age, but the rate at which they shorten can potentially be influenced by various factors, including diet, stress, exercise, and overall lifestyle.
      Dr. William Li discusses how certain foods can potentially impact cellular health, including the health of stem cells and possibly telomeres. Here are some foods from his discussions that might be beneficial for supporting these cellular mechanisms:
      1. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Found in fatty fish like salmon and sardines, these fats are known for reducing inflammation in the body, which can be beneficial for telomere health.
      2. Berries: Rich in antioxidants, berries can help reduce oxidative stress, which is thought to be a contributing factor to telomere shortening.
      3. Nuts and Seeds: These are good sources of vitamin E, another powerful antioxidant that can help protect cells and their telomeres from oxidative damage.
      4. Green Leafy Vegetables: Foods like spinach and kale are high in vitamins and minerals that support overall cellular health and might help maintain telomere length.
      5. Whole Grains: These provide fiber and other nutrients that may support longer telomere length by reducing inflammation and supporting healthy blood sugar levels.
      6. Green Tea: Contains catechins, powerful antioxidants that may protect cells and telomeres from oxidative stress.
      The idea of "instructing" our cells through dietary choices reflects the broader principle of epigenetics, where lifestyle can influence gene expression and cellular behavior. While we're still learning about the direct impact of these foods on telomeres, it's clear that a nutrient-rich diet plays a crucial role in maintaining overall cellular health, which can indirectly support healthy aging and longevity.
      Continuing to explore how dietary choices impact our health at the cellular level is an exciting area of science, and incorporating these foods into your diet is a proactive way to support your body's natural regenerative abilities. For more detailed insights and the science behind these recommendations, be sure to check out our content on stem cell revival and longevity. 🌟

      Oxalates are naturally occurring compounds found in many plant-based foods. While they are generally harmless for most people, those prone to kidney stones might need to monitor their intake. Foods high in oxalates include spinach, rhubarb, and nuts. Research suggests that pairing high-oxalate foods with calcium-rich foods can help reduce oxalate absorption. 🥗🥛

    Broccoli sprouts are not readily available where I live most of the time. I bought some broccoli sprout powder and add a scoop to my water every day. Is this just as good?

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Using broccoli sprout powder as a substitute for fresh broccoli sprouts can still provide valuable health benefits, albeit with some differences to consider.
      Nutrient Content: Broccoli sprout powder typically retains many of the nutrients found in fresh broccoli sprouts, including sulforaphane, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. However, the exact nutrient content may vary depending on the processing method and quality of the powder.
      Convenience: Powdered form offers convenience and ease of use, making it a convenient option for incorporating into your daily routine, especially if fresh sprouts are not readily available.
      Dosage Control: With powder, you have more control over the dosage, allowing you to adjust the amount according to your preferences and health goals.
      Storage: Powdered form typically has a longer shelf life and may be easier to store compared to fresh sprouts, which can spoil quickly.
      While broccoli sprout powder can be a convenient alternative, it's essential to choose a high-quality product from a reputable source to ensure potency and purity. Additionally, be mindful of any added ingredients in the powder, such as fillers or preservatives, that may affect its overall nutritional value.
      Incorporating broccoli sprout powder into your daily routine can still provide you with many of the health benefits associated with fresh broccoli sprouts. Just remember to follow the recommended dosage and consider consulting with a healthcare professional if you have any specific health concerns or questions. Enjoy your daily dose of nutrition! 🥦💚

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Absolutely! Adding a tablespoon of dark chocolate or cacao to your daily smoothie is not only safe but can be quite beneficial. Cacao is rich in antioxidants, particularly flavonoids, which support heart health, improve circulation, and can even help to reduce inflammation. These properties make it a great addition to a smoothie if you're looking to boost your nutritional intake.
      Moreover, cacao can enhance mood and brain function due to its theobromine and phenylethylamine content, making your daily smoothie not just a treat for your body, but also for your spirit! Just make sure to choose dark chocolate with a high cacao content and minimal added sugars to maximize the benefits.

    What about vitiligo , which food can heal white spots on the face and body. it's an autoimmune disease pls help

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Vitiligo is indeed a challenging autoimmune condition where the body's immune system attacks the pigment cells, leading to white patches on the skin. While there is no cure for vitiligo, certain dietary approaches can help manage the condition and possibly reduce its progression by strengthening the body's immune system and reducing inflammation.
      Here are some dietary considerations that might help:
      1. Anti-inflammatory Foods: Adopting a diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods can help manage the autoimmune response. This includes incorporating foods like turmeric (which contains curcumin), fatty fish rich in omega-3 fatty acids (like salmon and mackerel), flaxseeds, and chia seeds.
      2. Antioxidant-Rich Foods: Foods high in antioxidants can help protect the skin and other cells in the body. Include plenty of fruits and vegetables like blueberries, cherries, carrots, spinach, and kale.
      3. Vitamin D : Some studies suggest that vitamin D might play a role in modulating the immune system and potentially benefiting conditions like vitiligo. Foods rich in vitamin D include fortified cereals and dairy products, fish oils, and egg yolks. Getting adequate sunlight is also an important natural source of vitamin D.
      4. Avoiding Trigger Foods: Some people find that certain foods, like those containing gluten or artificial additives, can exacerbate their condition. Keeping a food diary to track what you eat and any changes in your symptoms can be useful.
      5. Ginkgo Biloba: A few studies suggest that the herb ginkgo biloba can help halt the progression of vitiligo and promote repigmentation, although more research is needed.
      6. Probiotics: Since vitiligo is an autoimmune disease, maintaining a healthy gut microbiome with the help of probiotics (found in yogurt, kefir, and fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi) might support immune system regulation.
      It’s important to consult with a healthcare provider or a specialist in dermatology before making significant changes to your diet or starting new supplements, especially when dealing with an autoimmune disorder. They can offer guidance tailored to your specific health needs and conditions.

  • @victorakandu9419

    And that is what we all want to do...LAZILY go for supplements instead of paying close attention and getting the right food to eat!
    Thank you for your help Dr.

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Absolutely! It's often tempting to look for quick fixes like supplements, but real, lasting health benefits typically come from making mindful choices about our diet. Focusing on whole foods provides a wide array of nutrients that work synergistically to support our bodies, which can sometimes be lost or not as effective when isolated in supplements.
      Dr. William Li advocates for getting nutrients from natural food sources whenever possible because this approach not only supports specific health aspects, such as stem cell function and telomere integrity, but also enhances overall health. This method ensures you're benefiting from a full spectrum of nutrients, which often work better together than in isolation.
      Thank you for your engagement and your proactive stance on health. Keep focusing on varied and nutrient-rich foods to support your body's natural systems. If you ever have more questions or need further guidance on incorporating healthy foods into your diet, feel free to reach out. Here's to your health and longevity! 🌟

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +6

      Absolutely, elderberry is a fantastic suggestion! 🌟 Elderberries are renowned for their high antioxidant content, particularly anthocyanins, which can help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress-both key for supporting the body's natural regenerative processes, including stem cell health.
      Adding elderberries to your diet can be another great way to support your body's healing mechanisms, alongside the foods Dr. William Li discusses. Whether it's through supplements, syrups, or whole berries, incorporating elderberry can definitely be a beneficial part of a health-promoting regimen.
      Keep exploring and integrating these powerful natural foods into your lifestyle! 🍇 Stay vibrant and rejuvenated!

    How many flavenols in taza chocolate

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Taza Chocolate, known for its stone-ground, organic chocolate, does not typically specify the exact amount of flavanols in each bar. This is common for most chocolate manufacturers, as the flavanol content can vary significantly based on many factors, including the type of cacao beans used, how they are processed, and how long the chocolate is fermented.
      Flavanols are a group of natural compounds found in cacao that have been studied for their antioxidant properties and potential health benefits, including improving blood flow and heart health. Dark chocolate, in general, is richer in flavanols than milk chocolate due to its higher cacao content.
      Taza Chocolate tends to have a high cacao content, often between 70% to 85% and even 100% in some products, which suggests a potentially higher level of flavanols compared to chocolates with lower cacao percentages. However, the unique stone grinding process used by Taza may affect the preservation of flavanols differently than conventional conching. The less processing and lower temperatures involved in making chocolate, the more flavanols are likely to be preserved.
      If you are particularly interested in the flavanol content for health reasons, you might consider reaching out directly to Taza or looking for specific cacao products known for their high flavanol content and minimal processing. Additionally, consuming moderate amounts of dark chocolate as part of a balanced diet can contribute to your intake of antioxidants without needing to focus solely on the exact flavanol count.

    dark chocolate is extremely high in oxalates (think kidney stones, but research is dicovering they are at the root of many serious illnesses) - oxalates for people like me that have difficulty eliminating them would die if I vegged out on dark chocolate.

    • @annemccarron2281

      @Eternal-Health  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +4

      You're absolutely right to be cautious about oxalate intake, especially if you're susceptible to issues like kidney stones or other health problems related to oxalate accumulation. Dark chocolate, while rich in beneficial antioxidants and flavonoids, does indeed contain high levels of oxalates, which can pose risks for certain individuals.
      For those who need to manage their oxalate intake carefully, here are some alternative strategies to still enjoy the benefits of foods like dark chocolate, without the high oxalate content:
      1. Moderation: If you don't need to completely eliminate oxalates but just reduce them, you might still enjoy dark chocolate in very small amounts. Paying attention to your body’s responses is crucial.
      2. Choose Lower-Oxalate Alternatives: Instead of dark chocolate, consider foods that are rich in antioxidants but lower in oxalates, such as:
      - Berries: Strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries are good options.
      - Apples and Citrus Fruits: These have antioxidants and are lower in oxalates.
      - Nuts: Almonds and walnuts are alternatives, in moderation, as they also contain some oxalates but less than dark chocolate.
      3. Calcium Intake: Consuming foods rich in calcium along with oxalate-rich foods can help reduce oxalate absorption in your gut, as calcium binds to oxalate. Include dairy or fortified plant-based alternatives in your diet to help manage this.
      4. Stay Hydrated: Drinking plenty of fluids, especially water, helps flush out oxalates and prevents them from crystallizing in the kidneys.
      5. Consult with a Nutritionist: Since dietary needs can be complex and highly individual, working with a healthcare provider or a dietitian can provide personalized advice tailored to your specific health requirements.
      Being informed and cautious about your diet, as you are, plays a crucial role in managing health conditions related to oxalate sensitivity effectively. Continue to monitor your health and adapt your diet to suit your needs best, and always consult health professionals when making significant dietary changes.

    Chocolate has oxalates.😮

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes, that's right! Chocolate, particularly dark chocolate, does contain oxalates, which are organic compounds found in many foods. Oxalates can bind with minerals in the body, such as calcium, and can contribute to the formation of kidney stones in susceptible individuals. It’s an important consideration for those who are prone to kidney stones or who have been advised to follow a low-oxalate diet.
      Despite the presence of oxalates, chocolate, especially the dark variety, is also rich in antioxidants like flavonoids. These compounds have been shown to have various health benefits, including improving heart health and potentially aiding in the regeneration and function of stem cells by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation in the body.
      Dr. William Li often discusses the benefits of foods that support the body’s health defenses, including the vascular system, stem cells, and more. When it comes to chocolate, the key is moderation and choosing high-quality dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, as this type contains more antioxidants and less sugar.
      If you enjoy chocolate but are concerned about oxalates or other health issues, it's wise to consume it in moderation and be mindful of the overall balance of your diet. This approach allows you to enjoy the benefits of the nutrients chocolate offers without consuming high levels of oxalates. For those specifically looking to support stem cell health, focusing on a variety of foods rich in antioxidants, such as berries, nuts, and leafy greens, can be beneficial.

    What’s your thoughts on blood type diet, our blood is what makes us different and the way we digest food, is this way all diet aren’t the same for all people, some people say its great, some say its ok and some say they fell like crap, why is that? Type A blood has a low stomach acid and dont digest red meat well as type O blood witch have a high stomach acid and digest red meat very well so if type A eat red meats they can not break it down as good as type O blood so type A will not fell as good as type O blood because A’s body is working harder for the same effect. Type A blood is thicker than type O blood which is thin blood. So my question is all foods equal to all blood types with the same health benefits, is lectins a big factor as some suggest, just wondering your thoughts, trying to find some answers because everyone seems to have one these days. What is it that prevents cataracts occur or even control the development. Thanks

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Preventing cataracts or controlling their development involves several factors, including lifestyle choices and proactive eye care. Here are some measures that may help:
      Healthy Diet: Eating a diet rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals may help prevent or slow the progression of cataracts. Focus on consuming plenty of fruits, vegetables, and foods high in vitamins C and E, as well as lutein and zeaxanthin.
      Regular Eye Exams: Routine eye exams can help detect cataracts early when treatment options may be more effective. Visit your eye doctor regularly, especially as you age or if you notice changes in your vision.
      UV Protection: Protecting your eyes from ultraviolet (UV) radiation can help prevent cataracts. Wear sunglasses that block 100% of UV rays when outdoors, and consider wearing a wide-brimmed hat for added protection.
      Limit Alcohol Consumption: Excessive alcohol consumption has been associated with an increased risk of cataracts. Limiting alcohol intake or avoiding it altogether may help lower your risk.
      Eye Protection: Wear protective eyewear when participating in activities that could result in eye injury, such as sports or working with hazardous materials.
      Maintain a Healthy Weight: Obesity and poor nutrition can contribute to the development of cataracts. Maintaining a healthy weight through diet and exercise may help reduce your risk.
      While these measures can help lower the risk of cataracts, it's important to remember that some factors, such as age and genetics, are beyond our control. However, adopting a healthy lifestyle and practicing proactive eye care can contribute to overall eye health and potentially delay the onset or progression of cataracts. If you have concerns about cataracts or other eye conditions, consult with an eye care professional for personalized guidance and treatment options.

      @Eternal-Health  16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The effectiveness of flu shots versus the potential benefits of broccoli or other superfoods in preventing influenza is an interesting topic. While foods like broccoli are excellent for boosting overall immune health due to their high vitamin, mineral, and antioxidant content, they serve a different role than vaccines.
      **Flu Shots**: These are specifically designed to protect against the influenza virus. Each year, flu vaccines are updated to match the strains predicted to be most common during the upcoming flu season. They work by exposing your immune system to a deactivated part of the virus, helping your body build immunity to it without causing the disease.
      **Broccoli and Immune Health**: Broccoli is rich in compounds like vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, and other antioxidants that support the immune system's overall function. It also contains glucosinolates, which have been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. While these nutrients support the body's general immune responses and can potentially reduce the severity or duration of illnesses, they do not provide targeted protection against specific viruses like the flu vaccine does.
      In conclusion, while a diet rich in nutritious foods like broccoli can help support a healthy immune system, flu shots offer specific protection against the influenza virus. Both approaches contribute to health in different ways and can actually complement each other. For the best protection during flu season, it's generally recommended to get vaccinated and also maintain a healthy diet rich in various nutrients to support overall health and immune function. If you have concerns about vaccines or nutritional strategies, consulting with a healthcare provider is always a good practice.

    Most dark chocolate is loaded with cadmium.

    • @Eternal-Health
      @Eternal-Health  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      That's an important point to bring up! Cadmium is a heavy metal found naturally in the environment, and it can accumulate in cocoa beans depending on the soil in which they are grown. High levels of cadmium can indeed be found in some dark chocolates, especially those with higher cocoa content, as cocoa beans can absorb cadmium from the soil.
      Consuming high amounts of cadmium over time can pose health risks, as cadmium is toxic and can lead to kidney, bone, and other health issues. This concern highlights the need for moderation in consumption and awareness about the sources of your chocolate:
      1. Check Certification and Source: Look for dark chocolate that is certified by reputable organizations which may regulate or test for heavy metals, including cadmium. Some manufacturers provide information about the sourcing of their cocoa beans and their testing practices for heavy metals.
      2. Moderation is Key: While dark chocolate is rich in antioxidants and can be beneficial for health, consuming it in moderation is wise, especially if concerned about potential contaminants like cadmium.
      3. Diversify Your Diet: To maximize the health benefits while minimizing risks, include a variety of antioxidant-rich foods in your diet, not just chocolate. Foods like berries, nuts, and green tea provide antioxidants without the risk of heavy metal exposure.
      4. Contact Manufacturers: If you're concerned about specific brands, reaching out directly to manufacturers to inquire about their cadmium testing results and practices can be informative.
      5. Stay Informed: Keeping abreast of research and reports from food safety authorities in your country can provide guidance on safe consumption levels and any brands or products that might be of concern.
      While chocolate, particularly dark chocolate, can be part of a health-promoting diet, being aware of and managing potential risks like cadmium exposure is crucial. Balancing the benefits with informed choices will help you maintain a healthy and diverse diet.

      @Eternal-Health  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      Eating cocoa nibs, which are indeed 100% cocoa, is a great way to enjoy the benefits of cocoa without the added sugars and fats often found in processed chocolate. Cocoa nibs are essentially crushed cocoa beans, which means they retain all the natural nutrients and antioxidants found in the bean.
      Health Benefits of Cocoa Nibs:
      1. Rich in Antioxidants: Cocoa nibs are packed with antioxidants, particularly flavonoids, which can help reduce inflammation and enhance heart health by improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.
      2. Mineral Content: They are a good source of magnesium, which is essential for over 300 biochemical reactions in the body, including muscle and nerve function, and iron, which is crucial for oxygen transport in the blood.
      3. Mood Improvement: Cocoa contains compounds such as theobromine and phenylethylamine, which can enhance mood and promote a feeling of well-being.
      4. Fiber: Cocoa nibs offer a good amount of dietary fiber, which helps maintain bowel health and regulate blood sugar levels.
      Stem Cell Support:
      From the perspective of supporting stem cells, the antioxidants in cocoa nibs can be particularly beneficial. The flavonoids help protect cells from oxidative stress, which not only supports general cell health but also aids in maintaining the functionality of stem cells. This is crucial for the body’s ability to repair and regenerate tissues.
      Using Cocoa Nibs:
      Cocoa nibs can be quite versatile in use. They have a rich, bitter chocolate flavor and a crunchy texture, making them a great addition to smoothies, oatmeal, or yogurt. They can also be used in baking or simply eaten as a snack.
      However, it's important to consume cocoa nibs in moderation as they are very potent and contain stimulants like caffeine and theobromine, which can affect sleep if consumed in large quantities or late in the day.
      Incorporating cocoa nibs into a balanced diet can contribute to your nutritional intake and support various health aspects, including the health and vitality of your stem cells.

      The conversion from chocolate chips to cocoa nibs can vary depending on personal preference and the recipe. However, as a general guideline, you can substitute cocoa nibs for chocolate chips in a 1:1 ratio by weight.
      For example, if a recipe calls for 1 cup of chocolate chips (which typically weighs around 6 ounces or 170 grams), you would use approximately 6 ounces or 170 grams of cocoa nibs instead.

      Thank you for your comment! You're right, sugary pastries covered in chocolate can be problematic if consumed in excess due to their high sugar content. However, it's important to note that moderation is key. Scientific studies show that occasional indulgence, balanced with a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, can still be part of a healthy lifestyle. 🍎🍫

    14:54 in or out off 'er on? What kind of blanket statement is for everyone. Answer, few. We all need water. We all need sleep. We all need positive Pursuit. We all need a flu shot every winter?

      You’ve made a thoughtful point about the nuances of health advice! Indeed, while some fundamentals like water, sleep, and positive activities are universally beneficial, other recommendations, such as getting a flu shot, might not apply universally due to individual health conditions, beliefs, or other factors.
      When it comes to dietary advice, like the top foods recommended by Dr. William Li to support stem cell health, it's also important to consider personal health profiles, dietary restrictions, and preferences. Here’s a quick recap of types of foods that are generally beneficial for enhancing stem cell function, which might be of interest:
      1. Cruciferous Vegetables: Like broccoli and Brussels sprouts, these are rich in compounds that support cellular health and have anti-inflammatory properties.
      2. Berries: Packed with antioxidants, berries help reduce oxidative stress, which is crucial for maintaining healthy stem cells.
      3. Nuts and Seeds: These are good sources of alpha-linolenic acid, a type of omega-3 fatty acid that can help reduce inflammation in the body.
      4. Fatty Fish: For those who include seafood in their diet, fatty fish like salmon and mackerel are high in omega-3 fatty acids, which are beneficial for overall cell maintenance.
      5. Green Tea: Rich in catechins, green tea supports numerous cellular processes and can aid in protecting stem cells.
      6. Dark Chocolate: In moderation, dark chocolate can be beneficial due to its high content of flavonoids, which are powerful antioxidants.
      It’s always good to approach health and dietary recommendations with an understanding of one’s unique needs and circumstances, and to consult healthcare providers when making decisions about things like vaccinations or significant dietary changes. Appreciating the diversity of needs across different individuals is key to finding the most beneficial and personalized health strategies.
