THX! finally i got why the MK3 Ford 6000 CD which i got as a replacement unit didnt fit into my Sony housing ! ( Since my Sony unit remains completely silent )
I need a tutorial how you done the cable ties, I spent ages trying to do the same but just couldn't figure it out and the fasica doesnt sit completely flush either 😒 I think it's because my double din isn't like yours it's got the screen but behind it it's like a single din so the weight is all at the top
I've sold the car so can't really do you a tutorial. Just use lots of cable ties to make lots of connecting hoops from both sides and join them behind the pole in the middle. And tighten cable ties to adjust. If you need adjustments from top to bottom maybe try connecting the hoops higher or lower up the pole
