The Detective Collection: your “Bat-Stuff” is “bat-tas-tic” Thanks so Much for Sharing!!! We have so many of the Same Pieces, Great, GREAT, Collection, it’s always So Enjoyable to see that others Share my Passion for the Batman,& Display them with such an Artistic Flair! NICE setups, & Commitment, & it’s Definitely a PLUS that Our Wives Get it👍….at my Present age I’ve been Collecting, for about 52yrs.& I still get Excited, I have all kinds of “bat-Stuff” from all over, & ALWAYS looking for MORE. Thanks again for the COOL viewing! You mentioned Family & Friends a few times, Amazing to Love & be Loved, isn’t It? Life Love& Blessings to You&Yours!!!✌️🦇🦇🦇🦇
Absolutely fantastic. I would love to have a room like this, somewhere I could relax by myself and enjoy the art in front of me. Can’t even go toilet nowadays without having some hassle😢
13:38 You should look into the ‘89 Batmobile LEGO set, it’s amazing! Plus there’s a really good alternative build of the set that turns it into TAS Batmobile! But it is retired now so it’s getting very expensive to pick one up! But if you like the Lego stuff (as you seem to having the tumbler and the Batwing) the Lego art batman set is pretty cool as it’s based on the Jim Lee Batman style. Or there’s gonna be another LEGO art batman set releasing this year based on TAS Batman art style, it’s gonna be a landscape of the Gotham City skyline, like you see at the start of the show! Failing that there’s still the GIANT Ultimate Collector Series Nolan Tumbler still out which is another great LEGO set!
I’ve been very tempted by the Tumbler and the 89 Batmobile. It’s just an issue of space with me! The Batwing hangs nicely on the wall but it’s harder for me to find a spot to display the cars. The BTAS skyline sounds awesome. I didn’t know that was coming. Might have to pick that one up. I’ve seen the Jim Lee thing and thought it was very cool!
Very Nice!!! Wish I could keep my “bat-stuff” so neat,&clean, In the Belfry upstairs, & the Cave down Below there’s “Bat-Goodies” everywhere! Been Collecting for a long time, but it’s Still “bat-tas-tic” to see Other Collections! Thanks 🦇🦇🦇🦇
That wall clock is beyond amazing!! I know it is probably impolite to ask someone who gifted it to you where she bought it, but i would be really thankful to you if you'd ask her. Regards
Depends on which ones you’re talking about. I get them from different places. For the newer Hot Toys I’ll go through Sideshow Collectibles. For some of the older ones I’ll buy them from other collectors in Facebook groups or find them at local toy stores. Most of my McFarlanes come from toy stores, Walmart, Target, sometimes Amazon. But I enjoy hunting them!
@@thedetectivecollection thanks bro , I appreciate it and yeah same here. A lot of the finds I come across are off OfferUp/ Craigslist. A ton of steals out there just have to find them aha ,but have a good one man 🤙🏼. Killer collection!
Omg bro how do you install that led light on your ikea shelf? I buyed one for my marvel legends figures. And I have to admit is not enough just one for my figures 🤣 But I find only white ikea shelf yours is black. But I put some posters in the back of the shelf because like that looks so empty 😕
Great collection… no Batman of Zur-En-Arrh 😂. Curious how old you are because I don’t see a lot of influence from Batman the Animated Series/Batman Beyond, yet you hold BB skin in high regard for the Arkham game. (why you would send a reprint off for grading?)
I’m 24. I grew up loving the Arkham games but I have a great respect for the Animated Series as well. The Mondo BTAS Batman may be my favorite in the collection right now. As for the CGC slab, I didn’t get it graded myself. I bought the slab from a local shop. I also have a CGC reprint first appearance of Robin. Tbh I just like the way that they display and I know that the chances of myself ever owning a true Detective Comics 27 is 0%. Some of them occasionally will hold a little value, but I primarily just like the way they look and what they represent.
@@thedetectivecollection fair enough! 24 and married; kudos to you! I was married at 23 and still am (48 now). Glad we both found a woman who tolerates our comic passions and collections! You should do short reviews of your Batman graphic novels and trades (especially older ones) to introduce new fans to classic stories! Maybe 5 minute vids. I didn’t pause on your trade collection, but check out Batman: Venom (2012; Denny O’Neil) where Bats gets addicted ! And a great pair of underrated Elseworlds titles, Batman: Thrillkiller and Thrillerkiller 62!
@@thedetectivecollection ALSO! Start collecting the old 1992 Batman Adventures (and Batman: Gotham Adventures, and Batman & Robin Adventures) comics with the Animated Series art style. They were written by Paul Dini in the “one and done” format like the BTAS show. I taught my son to read on those and he grew up a fan. They’re pretty cheap on eBay!
Sad the DCEU is no more (all WB suits fault) BvS Ultimate Edition is how the movie was supposed to come out. And the Arkham Knight Batman’s pants look weird. Too Dominatrix if that’s a thing 😂🤷🏽♂️ pleather.
@@thedetectivecollection man that room looks 100% like my old college room! I mean down to the hole in the side and the stairs and closet at the top of the stair case! Crazy!
I usually try to keep them all in order, but I could’ve misplaced one or two before this video since I had just pulled them all out to clean my shelves!
Yes I know who he is… I just said that I don’t have a ton of connection. I’ve read his books and enjoyed the DCAU movie, I just don’t have as much connection to that version of the character.
Awesome displays. Thanks for sharing..
very interesting collection well displayed

Excellent collection. Really enjoyed the video.
It’s truly beautiful!
That lego batwing realy ties the room together nicely

Really cool room.
Amazing 😍. I would love to have a room like this one day when I can afford 😅
Great collection! I'm making the same thing with Spider-Man.
Good stuff, thank you for sharing and sorry about the game last night.
I appreciate it! Certainly a tough loss. But as a lifelong fan, I can’t complain. I have endured much worse.
I collect Mcfarlane DC Multiverse, feel free to check out my collection
Bro that so coo I have started myself lit bro 🔥
i am new subscriber !! i love your collection very very beautiful and rare i love Batman he is the perfect symbol of justice and redemption :))
Beautiful collection you have you could buy few weapon stands to display the weapons so they stand out more
"Y'all talking about Batman" - SNL. Room looks Rad Bruh.
Sweet collection but the stairs lead up to your collection, that sounds like it should be called "The Belfry"!
This has been suggested multiple times now. Sounds like a need a name change!
That wall clock is beyond amazing!! I know it is probably impolite to ask someone who gifted it to you where she bought it, but i would be really thankful to you if you'd ask her. Regards
I believe she bought it off of Etsy!
Amazing collection what’s the name of the cabinets you use to display the figures? :)
Detolf cabinets from IKEA.
Great stuff! Awesome displays, so sweet to see your wife contributes to your collection

Where did you get your figures?
Where's the Hot Toys tumbler??. Looking great. Thanks for the tour
Don’t have the space or the money! It is incredible though!
I hear you I don't even have mine displayed.. in the future keep me in mind, I'm probably going to unload it
Missing the statue from prime 1 studio
Since it's upstairs wouldn't it be a "Belfry" instead of cave?
Cool collection though.
I suppose so. I’ve honestly never thought about it!
Where did you get the bat signal book end??
I believe it came from Walmart. It’s actually a toothbrush holder lol

Look up Govee lighting Detolf tutorial on TH-cam. Should be the first video. I followed that tutorial.
Now calculate how much this whole room costs. -)
when i got the batman mcfarlane statue i got a gold one...

Feels like a KY Lego Boy rip off… but I want an admin reveal
Cool. But for how organized and meticulous you seem, it kills me to see your Graphic Novel volumes out of order. Do the right thing
