Thank you! So helpful. I think I’m a soft classic but also a classic essence…. But I need to work on being more graceful as I tend to have a real goofy side I lean more into.🤪
I noticed that Reese Witherspoon looks like she's had somethng done to change her chin, which makes her face look more Classic than Gamine. As she got older, she embraced more of a Classic look too.
I do enjoy the content , although I struggle to analyze body type and essence with your degree of skill. I will view more of your videos to develop my eye. I find the whole process fascinating. I believe I am a Classic and have sometimes forced myself into a different style to look more ‘edgy’ but could not pull it off successfully.
I'm so happy you're finding the videos helpful! It's all about experimentation. I think that feeling of 'not pulling it off' is the greatest tell if something is for you or not. Trust that and just keep trying different lines. You'll find your style!
I have been typed as a SG with a Classic Essence. I tend to see myself as having a Classic Essence with the way I neatly dress and groom, but I come off as a friendly person. Not as stiff and rigid as a Classic Essence so much in personality. I like to bust out a laugh and act silly when the occasion arises. That is no doubt where the Gamine comes in.
Maybe it's just my impression, but I feel like classic and natural essences are like cousins? Lol I know natural is more about rawness and asymmetry, while classic prefers symmetry, but on the other hand both love interesting materials and textures, a nice equilibrium between angular and soft, simple and neutral tones, hair and makeup... I guess it's due to both being "not-that-yang" and "not-that-yin" either. Can somebody see the same I see? 😅
Personally, I don’t think. I have some classic essence and I can’t wear or barely wear a natural essence. I look homeless or disguised in that. In fact, natural essence (with dramatic and ethereal essence) are the most obviously big NO for my body. Post scriptum: That being said, it is absolutely possible to have classic essence and natural essence at the same time.

Hahaha- I think that's great- and it might be a sign of another, perhaps lesser essence? Gamine maybe?

👏👏👏
Emily Blunt wears awful old lady hairdos!
Mine is the peasant style.
Modern women look very awkward! Bad photos, maybe it is the photographer! Why are they so unphotogenic for famous people!
