Sarah Roper Solo Oboe of the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, Spain, since 1996, a founding member of the ADCS (Seville Double Reed Society) and held the International Relations post in AFOES (Spanish Double Reed Society) 2012 -2018. Sarah is President of AFOES and since January 2018, First Vice President of IDRS. Sarah is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music and plays a Howarth of London LXV oboe. Celia Craig, former Principal Oboe of Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Creative Director, Artaria, former President of Australasian Double Reed Society (ADRS) 2007-2013 and an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. Duetting across the world from Sevilla to Adelaide in #lockdown

Beautiful playing. What LXV models are those? All wood, VT, or synthetic top joint?

@@bw3446 They're both straight blackwood instruments. Celia's favourite is her cocobolo LXV and she plays that one most of the time, but for this recording she used the Blackwood to match Sarah.
