All these "pros" play gto style are predictable, which is the exact opposite of a real good poker player should be. If you're predictable, you're done.
If you are not confident to be an exceptional good poker player. Why would you pay 500k to battle against the best poker players? Just like Gambledor, lococo is better than 99% of the players in your local game.
I even though loccoco is a good poker player. He was competing against the top 0.1% of elite poker pros where good is not good enough yet he won wich raises the question if these guys at the top is really as good as they percieve they are?
@@brandonnel4687the elite are very good, they mix skills with table presence. How much better they are than just really good players starts to be fine lines. Also beyond their own skills, there is their instincts and reading abilities, which could be marginally better. But at that level of competition, even a sliver of an edge can make all the difference in the result.
It’s all luck! The top pros are just luckier than most! Look at Moneymaker for god sake! He’s won what 3 tournaments? I’ve played against him online during the pokerstars days and he was nothing special! It’s all luck and if you are just a little bit luckier than the next person, tha you will make it! Yes, there’s SOME SKILL involved but it’s most luck!

The thing is, how do you determine if a player is a "pro" or not? Is there a guideline or a qualification to show? When you say Locco is here to make a statement to the "pros"..well if he wasn't lucky he wouldn't got so far with his "skills" either. So it doesn't really make sense to claim that someone is good because it takes luck to be "good" to take down other players

Study study study. Doesn’t change that the game is luck of the draw. People who do all the maths and spurt out percentage odds etc are clever but still can’t predict what’s coming next.
I'm new to poker and I have a question, what does studying poker means? You'll make a full house with 9 and 2 after you've folded and you'll lose with aces. Apart from ranges and a general idea on how to bet what is it to study? You study hours a day to be ready for a tournament and feel like you will never be ready and when you finally make the courage to go, a guy like this comes along and makes you look like a fool.
It’s not about cards and chips, but it is mostly about luck… lets see how many tournaments he can win with those crappy hand selections that he played with if he doesn’t get lucky in crucial spots…. To win poker tournaments, you need to get lucky in a number of crucial spots, that is the truth.

They are. Poker includes variance. So the best don't win all the time. If they did, no one besides the best would play. Also wasn't the top .1% of players. It was the best who were able to make it there with their schedules, and able to play. Not every top player plays every big tournament.

Yep,"I don´t study" is just a so obvius lie to make him seem more "special", "instinctive player",etc to the amateur players who believe it...
