You can hear my cheeks being clapped by this boss down from Nokron, such poorly designed boss.
Almost everything is fine, but the grab attack is pretty broken. The jump attack seemed the same until I learned it has to be dodged right.
@@CernyGaming he's delayed attacks are awful.
I threw on a few buffing incantations and used the pest threads spell. For whatever reason, pest threats chewed through him at an absurd rate. Like, I think the fight ended in less than 30 seconds. I'm not entirely sure why. Threads is better on big bosses but he's not THAT big...
Can confirm pest threads carried me through this and Bayle on a different run.
Black blade also worked excellent with pest threads and rotten breath.
what's reccomended level for this fight
Hard to say with the DLC. This boss doesn't have too many cheap shots so as long as your build is generally end-game ready you should be fine.
@@CernyGaming yeah i finally beat him after making a new build which unfortunately is basically useless vs messmer
Anyone else not able to get the critical ? I stagger him go to the glowing spot and when I swing it's just a normal swing

Yeah you have to the slightly to the right of it.
Total BS can't critical no matter what
You have to lock onto him, then walk into him at an angle and then once you press r1 it will trigger the critical
