I didn't like this last installment. They could have given the viewers a more in depth look at them having healthy interactions and a healthy relationship, especially after all the toxicity. Their evolution as a couple deserved so much more. The film was actually pretty boring except for the rushed end when Tessa comes back into the film.

@@rosielane5064 Anti-climatic and underwhelming to say the least. Especially as they wasted most of the film with them being apart. I don't even like the After film trope as it's so toxic but I grew invested... Lol. But where was the journey to redemption that wasn't merely focused on looking back at the past, but looking forward to the future with Tessa? Don't get me wrong, what happened to the girl from the past was horrible but he treated Tessa so poorly, so his journey should have been towards making amends to HER, by actually having and maintaining a healthy relationship and showing the viewers what that looks like. It's what we deserved for the series conclusion.👎👎👎👎👎

I think that someone should create their own version of Tessa getting back with Hardin and get Anna’s approval. ❤❤❤ We got robbed of a wonderful, longer Hessa reunion. 😮😢 It would be ideal if they could get the original actors to be in it. A proper closure.

@@cromeo187because Josephine had a scheduling conflict she was most likely filming another project when after everything was doing it’s storyline so they had to use unused storylines for Tessa.

For me, i love the movie sooo sooo much. My hearth melt, the same feeling a get when i read the book. I just wish it’s longer but we know its a movie, they needed to rush some scenes to fit as a movie. But totally love it ❤❤ will definitely ready the book again

I like the way how Hardin never kissed any girl after meeting Tesaa, but Tessa did it.
He was always the loyal one, yes. In the end, they will chose her over him after all. Always got the second place. That's so sad. He never had the first spot in his life, why he was so messed up.
@@yarroww693 That's definitely sad but Hardin was Tessa's first real love and it's not uncommon to be with someone else afterwards if things don't work out. Everyone also forgets he did push her away sometimes and it seemed like he didn't want things to get better between them.
I don’t believe she kissed anyone else either. Robert was never a boyfriend to her. In the book she tells Hardin, no one else, just you. So they were separated but faithful to each other. ❤️❤️❤️

Just watched this filmed thank you loved it you can say now that hardin and tessa lived happy ever after could of done with abit longer at the end but it was really beautiful had a few tears if you have read the books and watched the other films this is the end we have been waiting for loved it i think it was based on the last book job well done the end of hardin and tessa it finished how i had read it they married and had children and they were in love and happy .hugs yvonnex

According to Google: The recasting was caused by complications related to the Covid-19 pandemic and scheduling conflicts, as the filming took place in Bulgaria during the height of the pandemic.

Non After book readers are very confused, so let me explain. 4 books had Tessa’s POV. All 4 movies were her POV. However, the FIFTH and final book was in Hardin’s POV. That’s why he’s the main character in it and Tessa’s left out. They also don’t see each other for two whole years. If you read the book instead of acting confused, you would know. They don’t get married, they have two kids (after Tessa’s miscarriage), and that’s it. I do agree it should’ve been longer and covered a lot more details like in the book, but I’m only explaining why the movie is mainly just Hardin and not Tessa. I haven’t seen it yet, so I’m assuming the beginning of the film didn’t tell you guys beforehand. Other than that, the movie is supposed to be like that. So stop complaining about it being only Hardin, that’s literally the whole point. The final book is also titled “Before” which by the title, you’d understand. It begins from the start. From when Hardin first meets Tessa. That’s why they showed memories.

The ending of this last movie, despite the fact that it is a little bit better than the ending of the book, is still rushed and fills our hearts with bitterness and frustrations. There may have been conflicts or disagreements among the After team but, who is to blame when Anna Todd herself ruined the ending of her book in the first place? We were all expecting Tessa and Hardin's wedding ceremony scenes and new romantic life, which could have resulted in 20 additional minutes to the movie. We didn't get that. Hardin and Tessa, the main characters, deserve a fancy wedding ceremony more than Landon and Nora, the third zone characters .

It’s happy ending or sad
I waited so long for the 5th After movie. I watched it and I am disappointed. I was waiting and wondering when Tessa would appear only to see her in the ending ( Landon's wedding) and of course the flashbacks. That and only that. Then came the worst with no development in their life ,wedding, doctor with the announcement of Tessa's pregnancy. Such great movies all After were I didn't expect the final After movie to be so rushed. If it was part 1 of After Everything, then I believe everyone would say " ok". I really love the After movies and was very disappointed.
