This is definitely one of those "trust the process" because there were a couple of moments were I was debating whether I should walk away or suffer to the end. But I'm glad I watched till the end because they're both beautiful 😍
Amazing work, lm learning clay work…a bit of a challenge. Do you have supply listing especially glue and deep green/turquoise used for first layer? Thank you
So pretty! 2 questions 😊 *How do you press the clay without smashing the design in the clay, like where you placed the the leaves at the top, it isn't flat so you have to press to stick on well? *What sort of clay won't shrink? Thank you for your videos! ❤❤❤️
These are really lovely ornaments. I have seen the heart shaped paper mache ornament blanks but not these glass ones. Are they glass or acrylic? I don't want the acrylic ones that open and would prefer this type of ornament as it seems sturdier. If you are going to go to all the work of making a piece of art, you want it to last more than one season, LOL!! If you don't mind, where did you buy them? Thank you so much.
@@crazyruthdiy WOW, they look so much like glass! Thank you for the information. I have a cart going on Aliexpress now so will go hunting for them. You have done a beautiful job. I just saved several of your tutorials to watch when I am more awake. It is after 1 AM where I live and why I am still awake watching YT videos I do not know. I will pay for it tomorrow. Also subscribed. Have a wonderful holiday. Deborah
@@ОльгаМильто I am not the content creator but I can answer some questions for you. She purchased the hearts from AliExpress. The first heart she used actual lace and acrylic paints in the colors that she wanted to match her rice paper. You can Google rice paper, acrylic heart ornaments and of course, acrylic paint. She used a little metallic paint to give it some sparkle. The second heart, she used rice paper and an air dry clay mold. You can Google clay molds and many will come up. I know that there are a lot for sale on Etsy, AliExpress, and I am sure many other places. Stamperia and Prima make really nice molds. Hope some of this helps.
These are beautiful, could you tell me is it lace you use or is it made from air dry clay? Is it possible to have links to where the products are from. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.
Loving your channel Ruth and the beautiful projects. Having a try myself and wondering, do I need to seal the clay ornaments before applying paint to give a distress look please? Lynne :)
Love them both, but the first one is my favorite 😍 ❤️
