Did you know, it is a 0.8% chance to get a nautilus shell from a fishing rod and 100% chance to drop from a drowned holding one, which has a 3% chance to spawn in Java Edition and 8% chance to spawn in Bedrock Edition?
Yeah nautilus shells are way more common in bedrock too.

Just a small thing, when you were talking about the nautilus shell and you said it only had a 0.8% chance of dropping, that was for fishing, not killing drowned zombies. You also didn’t need that many shells, you could’ve used prismarine to increase the conduit’s range.

I noticed this immediately because 0.8% is super close to 1%, and that would have been one every 100.
You could also have gotten them via fishing though, wayy easier as far as I can tell.

The new style of Minecraft lets plays are so insane. So much done in so little time 🤯 I remember when Wadzee revolutionized it by putting in so much effort per episode but this is just on another level

I sincerely doubt it was done in as many hours as he said it was. The odds that he went drowned hunting, got discouraged, researched and built an entire drowned spawner, AFKed at it long enough to get his shells and then went on to build numerous additional things, all in 9 hrs, is absurd, and rather than show he has good planning skills, instead shows that he doesn't know what a reasonable time frame even looks like when telling us about it XD
Imagine not wanting a roof on your house yet, because you are waiting on a giant to send the roof down, lol. That would be some good lore, lol

He downgraded the world and that removed the glass he placed right? so doesn't that mean other structures would also get removed? and he got that world to be added to the server?
he made the structures after the glass was imported to the server

i believe the nether file is separate from the overworld and end files, so you could completely reset the end, overworld, or nether without resetting the other two
You didnt need this many shells, you can make the ocean totem thingy increase its range with more water temple blocks

I think the nether was reset because the server owner must of sent you the main world only. If he sent you the nether world in its own folder to be able to use it in singleplayer world you must rename it to DIM-1 and put it in the regular world folder.
He explained why it was reset. Nether generation got changed between snapshots. The glitch he was trying to do got patched out

This is the only modern method, otherwise you can use ice obtained with silk touch in beta 1.9 or beta 1.6 test build 3 in a version before release 1.3.

For future it's much easier to gather shells by fishing with fully enchanted fishing rod, i did it for 3-4 hours and got more than 20

so, see, when glow lichen where coded, they where meant to be waterlogged, so when the devs added this feature, they forgot lava, making it so when you lava-log(?) a glow lichen, it turns into water, because they forgot to code in the lava-log feature.

You also could've also asked the admin to use a debug stick (give @p debug_stick) to toggle a couple chests or other water-loggable block to being waterlogged while it was in the nether.
Nah just use the glitch like how you can changes doors into anything in terraria the game doesn't want glow lichen to be lava logged so it water logs it

8:39 0.8% is very close to 1%. A 1% drop rate means you hypothetically need to kill 100 mobs to get 1 shell, so you would need to kill a bit over 100 to get one with its actual odds. The odds would have to be less than 0.1% for you to need to kill over 1000 for one shell.
0.8% chance is also an 8/1000 chance, meaning in 1000 kills you should get 8 shells.
You should use the sand duping machine in the end it gives a lot of sand when you use it but don't log out of the game or else your sand duping machine will break

I always fish a lot so I usually have stacks of shells lol. They do be rare tho I guess
You can also get nautilus shells from wandering traders! They usually have at least 5
The only difference I would make in this base is make the glass as a hexagon

I mean you could have just get a librarian villager, and did the zombify curing method to get the trades to the cheapest one, and if you're lucky enough get a glass block trade for 1 emerald for around 4 glass for 1 emerald
but if going back versions removes blocks, wouldnt that mean every base got wiped for his one base?
