Instead of making everything from a scratch they instead use the ycr encore formats and vocals and add even more stuffs that YCR Encore don't have as if YCR Encore is already not flooded with instruments
I haven’t felt those goosebumps for you can’t run in a long time. This feels so amazingly well done. It’s like you can’t run if it had an entire new coat of paint. It feels so different yet so familiar. I am GUSHING over the guitars. I really love the new voice acting. I was tired of everyone using those same voicelines for their remixes or “remakes” over and over. The fires await was such a sick line. I love every bit of this. Fantastic job.
Same. Plus the end part fits cause one other thing that the vocals I hate about ycr encore is that they desperately make the song longer by adding an out of place segment like the "gaze of the god" part and rest is bit unnecessary
I have to say, out of all the versions of the genesis/faker part i've seen, this ABSOLUTELY has to be my favorite out of all of them, hands down. Not only does it last far longer, the fact that it is literally just the same thing that's used in like literally everything else, and can still sound absolutely amazing and heavenly in this song. There's only so much emotion I can express in words, and there's something else about it that makes it amazing that I can't quite put my finger on, and I love that mystery. Amazing move to use Angel Island.
Yeah. This exactly gives the panic vibes due to how the song is unexpectedly faster than Too Slow. Yet the encore YCR just very overrated to boot. It tries way too hard to top the OG YCR that it felt off on the vocal part and the only winning part of it is the heavy metal instruments

Agreed and also to me my main problem with encore is the vocal is lacking and more instrumental lean. Frankly I don't think it fits with fnf since fnf is known for vocals and instrumental both balanced out each other that without either one of those two aspects you can still enjoy the song. Ycr encore in other hand is so instrumental heavy that when you listen to the vocals only you want to just sleep

I love how the pixel section isn’t Green Hill zone anymore, it emphasizes that all the characters aren’t trapped in Sonic 1 like in the original creepypasta. Which in the story doesn’t make sense since both Tails and Knuckles are present. It emphasizes that they’re in Sonic 3, which makes sense since because both Tails and Knuckles are involved in the story, which would mean they are in Sonic 3 instead of Sonic 1. And also Green Hill zone isn’t present in the 3rd Sonic game so again, it would make more sense that it would play a Sonic 3 track

Dude this YCR is amazing due to the fact that Sonic.exe is actually SCARY in this one. The multiple voice lines to the tone at the end where he sounds a lot more triumphant and like he has an edge with that laugh. And even the set-up jumpscare at the end of the pixel part!
This is the BEST You Can't Run remixes I've heard. I know someone already said this, but it sounds like I heard the song for the first time in my entire life, and you gotta have a lot of talent to remake a song like that! In my opinion, the pixel part and the end part after "THE FIRES AWAIT" was GOLDEN. I love how the pixel part is completely different from the OG! I loved the scream at the end of the pixel part, and the fact that there are voicelines that didn't just get ripped from the OG YCR shows how much effort was put into this song! I don't care that Sonic.exe sounds like a fucking lawn mower! I like that you used a different voice for Sonic.exe, and the song is still really, really good! If this is only the traditional, I can't even imagine what a fucking ENCORE would sound like. YCR's original voice sounds rough in a good way, sounding similar to a guitar or a dragon, while YCR's encore voice sounds like a failed attempt at UTAU. I would have liked that in the YCR encore there was a reference to Big Arms (Sonic 3 final boss theme), I think it would have been very epic.

REALLY DAMN GOOD DUDE. Only complaint is that I think the melody from the Original version of YCR (the one that would start at 2:36) fits better after the previous melody than the one from Encore, so I'd replace that part with the Original version, and maybe add the encore melody directly after it. Love this a ton though!
I like the new vocals. The sound between the switch from pixel to the second sonic EXE part is TERRIFYING, which makes the mod how it should be. I also like the new sprites and the new parts.

My God, I LOVE that sonic solo. I like to think that it is a short moment of clarity for sonic, who has lost everything, and given up on fighting against Xenophanes' possession. He has no reason to take advantage of that moment, because he knows that in the end, he will lose once again regardless. So instead he laments with you about everything and everyone he lost, before Xenophanes inevitably regains control. It's even more tragic when you realize that Sonic is one of the most headstrong, idealistic, and tenacious characters there is, and he has given up, fully resigned to a truly unbeatable foe.
same here - it's my favourite part of the remix by far also, I'm pretty sure that this is actually OG Sonic.EXE and not Xenophanes going off of what I've heard with Rerun, but it would still make sense, as people headcanonned that OG X was possessing Sonic to create Sonic.EXE aswell, same case with Xeno but going off of the somber & melancholic tone of Angel Island instead of the unnerving one of Xeno's Green Hill, there's definitely something more going on behind the scenes of X's game, as if he wasn't in control in that segment
For me it is fine on the first half at least unlike Encore where the instrumental is simply way too overpowering that leaving it to vocal only is enough to make you went to sleep

My God, I LOVE that sonic solo. I like to think that it is a short moment of clarity for sonic, who has lost everything, and given up on fighting against Xenophanes' possession. He has no reason to take advantage of that moment, because he knows that in the end, he will lose once again regardless. So instead he laments with you about everything and everyone he lost, before Xenophanes inevitably regains control.
It's even more tragic when you realize that Sonic is one of the most headstrong, idealistic, and tenacious characters there is, and he has given up, fully resigned to a truly unbeatable foe.

also, I'm pretty sure that this is actually OG Sonic.EXE and not Xenophanes going off of what I've heard with Rerun, but it would still make sense, as people headcanonned that OG X was possessing Sonic to create Sonic.EXE aswell, same case with Xeno
but going off of the somber & melancholic tone of Angel Island instead of the unnerving one of Xeno's Green Hill, there's definitely something more going on behind the scenes of X's game, as if he wasn't in control in that segment
Pretty sure that isn't Sonic and Xeno isn't possesing anyone, but still a good headcanon.

For me it is fine on the first half at least unlike Encore where the instrumental is simply way too overpowering that leaving it to vocal only is enough to make you went to sleep
