During his fight versus Maia is when my family and I turned against Silva. I remember it like it was yesterday. We felt so bad for Maia. It just seemed like Silva was being a bully, toying with Maia. Here's how I can understand the contempt for Carlos Condit and Daniel Cormier. In the early 2010s George St. Pierre was the most dominant champion in MMA history, but was never a bonus winner. When GSP is headlining PPVs his "point fighting" was getting a lot of exposure. People were getting tired of point fighting.
It's why it's funny to see Jones running away from a fight with a guy who is to him what he is to the entire LHW division, a freak of nature. so to see him vacate his belt to run from that fight because he only wants to be the physically dominate guy, not dominated is somewhat poetic.
The funny thing about Brock Lesnar is WWE fans think of him as an MMA guy who doesn't belong in pro wrestling...and MMA fans think of him as a WWE guy who doesn't belong in MMA.

That Brock & Frank fight is the night I met my wife so I remember well, and me and a bunch of buddies had got on ppv, everyone was rooting for Frank as most of us were longtime ufc fans and had mad respect for his skills, but when Brock freaked out after winning everyone in that house loved it and had new respect for him, ... till he bitched out and took it all back

I'm of 2 minds from this. On one hand I love watching Connor, Joanna and JBJ fight. I cheer for them when they're in the octagon. When the fight is over, I don't condone their actions. I like them as fighters but not necessarily as people.
