Mr A Ross suggests that I learn something everyday. Very sharp rig Mr. Thomas. Definitely built to work. Well done, sir. Mike New
Thank you so much !!!
Ol hospitality is a good guy
I love seeing all the little detailed organization. Great job! Thanks again for sharing!
Thanks I appreciate that. It saves me time knowing where everything’s at it took a while to get to this point, but I finally feel like I have a good workflow.
Dude you are the most thorough person I’ve seen make a video descriptions, links, and the actual rock on baw. Slick rig no wasted space.
Thank you so much, Matthew. I really wanted this to be as helpful and informative as possible.
Probably the most useful and organized truck put together with run of the mill, buy anywhere storage. I actually like this a lot more than the pipeliner style custom built beds
Hey, thanks a lot. I really appreciate that. I definitely put a lot of time, thought, and planning into this.
this is insane. i've never felt less like a man than after watching this. im finishing up my 4 years in the service and headed back to the chicago land area where im going to go to a welding school, and would eventually like to move to indiana and start ideally pipeline welding, but honestly any kind of welding to get started with. amazing video, thank you
I seen this truck on Facebook a few week ago on a welding page. Sweet truck! Bet working off that thing is a blast!!
Hey Thanks !! Yeah I do love working out of this rig for sure !
That is one wicked badass welding rig.
Really nice Rig setup
I was looking for information on metal fabrication and came across this video, I have to say this is such proof you are a true professional, thank you for sharing this information.
Incredible rig! Thanks for the tour
You bet!
Great rig ! Really organized, & handy setup ! Nice job !
Thank you so much!
Nice rig Man!!! You will get it all tuned the way you want it in time for sure. I hear ya on the amount of money you put into one to start with. It's ok to go cheap when you have to so you can get going. I've been very happy with Tidweld reels on both of my trucks. I recommend those when you get to it. As far as your coffee addiction goes.... I carry a Keurig Single Serve on mine!!! LOL!!! A real hot cup of coffee on a super cold Winter day goes a long way sometimes!!! You really have some nice and unique deals on your rig that I'm sure work well for you. That's the real deal there. Make it work for YOU and what YOU do!!! I always see people picking another's rig apart. They have no clue what they have it set up for. You clearly have it dialed and are open to advice. That is being smart right there!!! Kudos Man!!!
Hey, thanks for all that. I appreciate it. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Tidwell reels. Yeah there’s always something that is just that little extra that you keep going for me my wife got me an electric lunchbox. I can put some leftovers in and plug it in. It’s hot at lunchtime and after several days worth of sandwiches, a hot meal in the middle of the workday sure makes a difference.
Nice! You have a great setup there. Thanks for the video, well done.
Thank you so much !
Slick rig, TNT! Looks well thought out and definitely space effective.
Thank you so much
Beautiful truck TNT! Glad to see you killing it.
Thank you Randy, I really appreciate that. I hope you are enjoying your retirement.
This is an amazing video and pickup. Keep up the hard work, sir!
Thank you so much !!
No doubt! I've been subscribed to Austin Ross TH-cam channel for a while now and I was watching a TH-cam short video of Austin Ross and he said to search up Temple Thomas welding rig tour (He said something of the like.). I rewatched that video 2 or 3 times, I was going back and forth wondering if i wanted to search up the video then i thought of Austin Ross as a friend and i thought of him introducing me to a friend of his, then i thought Austin Ross is a high quality person so I looked up Temple Thomas Welding rig tour, and you, your video, your pickup, and your camera crew definitely did not disappoint everything about this video is perfect. When I heard you say "Austin Ross" ,in your video, I said, "I'm definitely watching the right video." I hope you add the remote lock security to your toolboxes sooner than later. That will be sick. That was the 1st time I've ever heard of the idea of unlocking your toolboxes with your key fob. I'm subscribed to you since yesterday, and I am excited to see more of your content! I love all your tools. I can imagine you worked so hard to accumulate all of your things.
Have a good day!
You're an absolute pro. Beautiful rig!
Thank you so much I appreciate that
Well thought out, super clean layout, loved the improvised solutions like coffee holder, & 'Hreat-stuff mod' to the cooler, the upside-down upper box with the DIY gas-piston. Auto closing shelves, the remote locking mechanism is a brilliant idea too. One of the best dedicated rigs I've seen, thanks for sharing!
This is an incredible and well thought out rig. Wow
Thank you so much I appreciate that
I really like the way you have everything organized, really enjoyed the video and subscribed as well. thank you.
Thank you I really appreciate that
Nice rig! A lot of thoughtful additions
Thanks 👍
Beautiful rig. Will for use this as a reference if I ever build one
I’m so glad it was a help to you. Thank you so much.
Great information and a great truck. A.Ross got me here!
Appreciate your attention to detail man.
Take care!
Thanks for the sub!
Thanks for the tour. That is a very well thought out truck design and you are rightly proud of it. Well done, sir!
Thank you so much I appreciate that
Fantastic rig Temple! Just stumbled on your channel and thisstuff is very inspiring!
Thank you so much. I appreciate that. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
most badass rig I've ever seen!! Definitely is my inspiration for my rig!
Thanks so much I appreciate that
Lots of great ideas for being organized and being efficient! I am a retired auto body man in your area but I still love to weld.
I appreciate that it took me a long time to finally get everything kind of laid out right
You sir have a bad ass rig. Well thought out!
Thank you so much !
Now I definitely want to redo my welding truck. Nice rig
Sorry about that - kinda :) Thanks !
Im impress the way you make your rig. You made a nice video with a bunch of details that I have to reviewed several times. Congratulations. You have everything for every situation.
Glad it was helpful!
Very beautiful and well organized work truck. Makes me realize just how unorganized my little rig is. I would look a lot more professional if my rig was more organized. Thank you sir for the inspiration!! I’m subbed up to your channel now and looking forward to new content.
Thanks I really do appreciate that. I hope you’re able to get it organized like you want. It definitely makes a difference.
Honestly the most badaas and organized rig ive seen so far, I aspire to get to this level one day in my life haha nice setup my man!
Thank you so much !
The organization is very impressive!
Thank you so much
Nice work, thank you for sharing 😊
That was a really good video man, even your speaking was bang on clear and usable information, one of the better real world welding rigs 👍👍
Thank you for the kind words. I sincerely appreciate it.
Thanks for sharing your great ideas.
You are so welcome! Glad I could help
I am not a dodge guy but I think your rig is gorgeous and very thought out. I believe your rig is a great set up
Thank you - I really appreciate that ..
You had me at “take my coffee seriously” lol. I have a 20oz Starbucks metal mug from 1995 that they don’t sell anymore and my wife says she’ll bury it with me. 😂
My man!! I get it !!!
Man, that is one squared away rig, awesome job 👍🇺🇸
Thank you so much I appreciate that.
So many great ideas. Love the fixture clamp tabs. Texas welder as well (Houston).
Thank you so much .. and howdy fellow Texan !
Well thought out rig. Very nice 👍🏻
Thank you !
beautiful! awesome work
Thank you very much!
Looking amazing brother 👌 great job 👍
Thank you so much 😀
Hey thanks for your video it great I got a Miller trailblazer diesel and I’ve got a 2017 ram 3500 I’ve been wanting to set up a welding rig you’ve giving me lots of great ideas so thanks again
Glad I could help
Nice rig and setup. Welder up cowboy!!!
Thanks 👍
You just gave me a bunch of ideas I'm getting ready to flatbed a 2500 series truck all kind of light bulbs were going off good stuff nice truck
I'm glad to hear it and glad I could give you some ideas !
@@TempleThomas my ram truck is also red. I really like read on black theme I was really looking for an alternative to just chrome and shiny paint job so I'm gonna go with a black grill and black rims also and I really like the fire suppression idea thanks again many blessings to you and yours
Nice to see a man that loves the color red run Makita tools. Good choice. Beautiful rig sir
Thanks I appreciate it
That os a great welding rig and tour!
Thank you !!!
@@TempleThomas No problem young man. Herein England that kind of rig wouldn't be that practical. Too damn wet and miserable weather, too many thieves and American pickups are very expensive. So, 99% of mobile welders here run out of vans.
Nice truck! Very real world functional.
Thank you so much
Austin Ross suggested I watch this video .......I did , I have subscribed.
Great video , narration and well thought out
Thank you for your time
He's a good guy to watch and learn from. Thanks I really appreciate it !!!
Hell of a rig. A nice goal for myself to get to one day
Thank you I appreciate that !
A Ross said check you out. I’m sure glad he did! You have certainly NAILED IT!!!!!!
It has to be a joy to go to work with what you’ve created. Well done indeed.
I really appreciate that and yes, this truck is fun to work out of
Best damn rig I have ever seen practical
Thank you so much. I sincerely appreciate that.
great vid.. I weld on my farm, have alot of pipe gates etc. have a trailer set up to pull with tractoralways looking to increase efficiency and you have a lot of great ideas.. thanks allot!
Thanks I appreciate that. I really hope it helps.
WOW you did a great job thanks a lot
Thanks I appreciate that
sweet setup
Beautiful setup !!! Love it
Thank you so much I appreciate that
Austin Ross sent me . Great setup . Thank you for sharing .
Thank you I appreciate that
Two things I remember very well about Temple. One of the best commanders I ever had (DC3), and maaan did you love your coffee!!
Thanks I really appreciate it .. and I still love my coffee !!!
@TempleThomas That's a beautiful, well thought-out rig brother. And hey, I'm a CWI these days, Holler if you ever need anything
@@ryanj2071 I appreciate that. Wow that's awesome, you still in the area ???
Austin Ross sent me here , and goddamn , that is a dream rig . I’d go with a flatbed myself to avoid the commercial tag just because it’s a headache in my experience. This was a great video . Thank you.
Thank you so much. I really hope that helps and I appreciate that.
Dam nice setup. very efficent.
Thank you so much !
Dam awesome rig one stop shop I love it 👍🏿💯
Thank you so much !
Thank You ! Awesome rig !
Love the cord hanging elbows, I’d have to figure some kind of gang cap lock for them. Those monkeys in theft mode jump right up, gray n go
Thanks I appreciate that. You can take a piece of 4 inch wide, flat stock, cut holes in them to line up with the elbows and then just set them on top and put a pin through to lock
That unit looks good brother 💪🏻💪🏻👍👍
Thank you so much I appreciate that
Great video. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
A Ross sent me, brother
Browsed your channel, like what you're doing. New sub, tell Mr. Ross thanks for sending us over.
I really appreciate the kind words. And I will.
Appreciate the video! Your Rig is awesome. We are taking an old 2007.5 duramax and building a rig. But we are truly starting from bare frame. The truck has a CM bed. We will be putting a cummins engine in it. Hopefully we can organize it similar to yours.
Back back piece of diamond plate over your license plate you should make that hinge pop out with a leg support have a 8-foot table to work on
Beautiful truck and very well thought out. I've spent some time as heavy equipment mechanic and work up in the Pacific Northwest Industrial farming world with miles and miles of gravel dusty wash board maintenance roads. At the end of the day all my crap was bounced around with paint wore off and nuts and bolts scattered all over with tools shook apart and any written material a muddy soggy mess. Most all of my wrenches would be buried under said dust and debris. So ONE of my suggestions is to stay on the freeway. One of my earlier employers was so cheap that when I ask for a vise to mount to the service vehicle they refused. At the end of my employment with them I was reduce to using a half dozen five gallon buckets with "cheap" Chinese tools in the back of a half ton twenty five year old pick-up. I only hope you can get the hourly rate you need to be able to support the beautiful truck and new tools. THAT never happened for me! I changed occupations!!
On my Ram I took out the third seat, built a wood box, 6" sides, 3 front cup holders. Put a 1/4 birch lid for 4" storage
, 2" top catch all.
That’s a good idea. I’d love to see pics.
Check out Bill Covert Service Truck Tour. On youtube.
I was really impressed with how you thought out your truck. I am going to have to get that water tank system.@@TempleThomas
this thing looks clean as hell! only thing I'd add is some sort of cover for the hoses
Thanks ! I'm going to try a stretchy motorcycle helmet bag.
Awesome set up
I'm glad you like it
Heck ya man! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you sir I appreciate it.
Beautiful Rig
Thank you !
That’s a bad ass rig, that’s my dream rig… A red on black Cummins
Thanks a lot - not gonna lie I love this truck !
Nice job. I did a rear seat delete like that for tools in a Gremlin, but you have done a much nicer job.
Thank you so much.
Damn nice rig sir 👍🏼
Thank you !
Amazing looking rig 😉🇬🇧
Thanks 👍 I appreciate that
Awesome rig 👍🏻
Thank you so much
I’m no professional but one thing that came to mind with the backseat section is custom door panels. Maybe some with hooks or compartments. Since no one needs to open the door from there. Awesome video. Awesome truck.
you know that's a GREAT idea, I'll see how that works out !
Very nice rig!
Thanks!
This would be one Hell of a Welding Rig to set up sometime after ypu have been making " Big Boy" money for awhile. He has some really good ideas on how he set up his Rig .
Thank you so much I appreciate it
Awesome rig, cool cat too
Thanks I appreciate that. She can be pretty rotten too 😂
Wow!! Nice rig!!!!!!
Thanks 👍
Good looking truck bud. Im in Hill county as well. I own my own heavy equipment field service company. Just wanted to say hi and say great job.
Well hey there Kevin. Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the compliment.
I would suggest installing some ends to those hangers holding your hoses. You can install locks and have one bar/top to go across the top of your hose holders and just relock them before you leave. Hoses aren’t cheap and I just thought I’d throw that out there. Thanks for the video!
That's a good idea, thanks !
Great truck. I'd love to know all of the measurements and dimensions for future reference.
Buddy, this is slick. I'm geeking out about you geeking out. That clamping tab on the back driver side is slick.
Can you talk about your clothing choices? I built a fence this summer and it was awful being in the garage and out in the heat fabricating and burying posts.
I had to wash my work pants and welding shirt just about every day I worked due to all the sweat. Spent a fortune on pedialyte too.
Thank you so much I really appreciate that. I actually had a lot of fun coming up with ideas that would be handy and help my work flow.
you can make your own adult pedialyte equivalent with just sugar and table salt and tapwater.for near nothing, just the cost of a gallon jug to keep it in. Most of the cost of pedialyte is the sterilization heating at the factory and the transportation cost. pedialyte also contains some salts that you won't lose thru sweat, like potassium. Babies with diarrhea lose a variety that must be replaced as opposed to an adult who is just sweating.
You normally wear both pants and shirts more than once before washing them while working as some type of welder for 8-12 hours per day is what you're saying ?????!!
@@mxreese69r6 I'm a weekend warrior. To your question though, same britches, same welding top that goes over a t-shirt. Wear it for a weekend, wash it for the next weekend.
Very nice Ute mate. Little thing I would mention is maybe add a first aid kit
Very good point, sorry I didn't mention it - there's one in the center console.
Looks great. I’m subbed up
Thanks for the sub!
Well done. Keep on keepin on with the videos
Thank you so much, I absolutely will !
@@TempleThomas nice to see a truck set up to tackle so much. The hose bib had me stumped for a minute but great idea.
@@ericsnyder9975 thanks I know there’s a pipeline rigs out there that are really geared to that specifically and those are awesome but I do cover quite a wide range of things so I have to be ready for the bulk of what comes my way. That usually one of the first questions I get about my truck is what is that spigot for lol.
What's the model number on that small Milwaukee metal cutting circular saw? Awesome welding rig thank you for showing
Thanks so much ! That saw is 2782-20
Great setup, Milwaukee fan myself, didn't catch if you have, but grab one of the Milwaukee packout first aid kits ( you never know ).
I had no idea they made that. I have one I put together in an OtterBox in my console. I’ll take a look.
Nice setup. What is great welder for mobile that do ark, mig and spool aluminum?
I have 2 Millermatic211's. One has a spool gun setup and one runs only self shielded flux core wire.
WOW! NEW SUB!!! YOU ARE A TRUE PRO😂😂😂 SIR, ARE MY EYES PLAYING TRICKS??????? BUT IT LOOKS TO ME!!! DID YOU FORGET TO CHIP THE SLAG ON THE PLATE THAT HOLDS THE VISE❓❓❓
Beautiful rig being a dodge man for welding rigs I question the gross vehicle weight .
A slick rig....
Thank you !
Can’t go wrong with a Milwaukee Mag drill and a couple 12.0 batteries.
That is a great portable solution.
Thanks I’ll check it out.
austin ross sent me , awesome rig man 👌👌
Thank you so much !!
