I had a negative connotation with corny which was supported by others shitting on him over the years. Now then everyone has a podcast or whatever, everyone has an opinion. But let me just say. Firstly. Jc was a goddamned good heel because my negative connotation came from him being a fucking good heel. Jim since you asked: 'torrenting' something means to steal an IP/ppv/film/game/any type of electronic medium you can download for free, instead of paying for it. I don’t care what anyone says…..Claudio is fucking boring. He’s always been boring. He will always be boring. He has zero charisma. You could book him like Brock Lesnar and he STILL wouldn’t get over….good hand, yes. Main eventer…..god no.
That’s why he was a job guy in WWE.
He reminds me in some ways of Lance Storm.
While I agree with Jim on 99.5 % of what he says, I do think the Wrestling Business has changed over the last couple of decades. AEW while flawed, appeals to most modern wrestling fans.
Man... been listening for a bit now...
Let me say I've watched mostly wwe all my life. Watched some WCW during the mid to late 90s, and minimal other promotions outside of that. I've at times sought out a few matched from Japan, but I could count those on 2 hands. I'm almost 40. I had a negative connotation with corny which was supported by others shitting on him over the years. Now then everyone has a podcast or whatever, everyone has an opinion. But let me just say.
Firstly. Jc was a goddamned good heel because my negative connotation came from him being a fucking good heel.
Secondly I've had a hard time with modern wrestling because shit doesn't make sense much any more and even if it does at times it's so rarely believable.
I've been looking for the right way to say shit at times with my frustration with aew and wwe obviously, but Jim really hits it sometimes. God damn it... for God's sake, protect the business, know why you're doing something and sell. Btw why the fuck can no one throw a good working punch these days!?
Keep it up guys. Love it
So can anyone give their own personal Mount Rushmore of tags teams ????
Hrm, I’d go with Harlem Heat, The Steiners, FTR, and Los Guerreros.
Road Warriors, Midnight Express, RnR Express, Dudleys but so many more Hart Foundation,Freebirds, Horsemen,Hardy, Etc
God damn Tony Khan talks all this shit about numbers and shit that doesn’t make any sense but it’s funny to hear
They really need to stop these, nobody looks good in these. The more the wrestlers talk the lamer they become than they already are. The egos of all them patting themselves on the back smh. So unaware.
Khan seems to really be big on dax and that's a good thing.
Only thing I respect is what he said at the end. It isn’t their fault that every other tag teams suck and wrestling today sucks but I will never watch wrestling again and I’m with Jim wrestling will never be the same I’m very happy with my decisions and my life on not watching todays product.
At lease AEW wrestlers can acknowledge Jim's comments whether they agree or disagree. That's just one of the many reasons I watch AEW. FTR's comments RE Jim on others pretty much sum it up. I'm just glad that no one named Vince will be writing wrestling anymore!
the empty arena match was terrible and they injured the heel instead of the baby face.
the sooner Tony learns that long monotonous answers are not fun to listen to for 2 hours or whatever, the better... hope the wrestlers keep mentioning Jim, though lol
Guys check out FTR vs The Briscoes at Death Before Dishonor Full Match th-cam.com/video/fYFpbkQryS8/w-d-xo.html
Jim pissing on russo's grave at 90 is going to be on Ppv like flairs final match
And him thought Mike Bennett and Davy Richards were the prototype for a modern wrestler. His version of ROH stunk.
JIM CORNETTE RULES
As much as I love listening to Jim, I just can’t do it listening to Tony and this “media” going on and on
Jim since you asked: 'torrenting' something means to steal an IP/ppv/film/game/any type of electronic medium you can download for free, instead of paying for it.
A lot of people blame torrents for the decline of ppv buys, film debuts, and video game sales. A lot of people are idiots-- people will buy something legitimately and support it with their money if it's worth buying-- they'll torrent it if it's trash.
Have you ever downloaded something via torrent ?
