Its actually such a lost oppotrunity wow caps your coins. I should be able to buy every single item they offer in the Post if i wanna grind tasks for it. Its actually so stupid that i need to chose what to get and what to never get.
Will they add mounts that were only available through raids (like the phoenix mounts from MOP or the wolf from the Garrosh raid) or promotional mounts like the Diablo mount? I hope those mounts stay rare and exclusive to those who did it.
I haven’t played WoW in 2 years but I had the wolf and phoenix mounts. I also had all Mage Tower appearances on 6 classes, and Challenge Mode MoP sets on 2 classes. I have titles from limited time events, titles from raids in the past, etc. I would prefer it if such things could still be earned. I think it is unfair that people cannot get something just because they are newer to the game or might have been on a break or on holiday or had a broken PC for a while. I have a friend who has been a consistent mythic raider for a long time - he has far more success than me in that part of the game. He missed the SoO wolf because he was moving country at the time. In what world does he not deserve to have it? I think rewards should always be available, but rewards that took skill to earn should be earnable by whatever in the current expansion takes comparable skill
Yup! You can hold onto coins if you don't want to spend on anything in the current month, and you can freeze one item so that you can still buy it after the month it was available.
How is this anything like a battle pass at all? How can people say that? It's basically a black market auction house with more things available and for the whole month and without the bidding. It looks and functions nothing like a battle pass at all, people saying that have no clue what a battle pass actually is.
It's really hard to change someone's first experience with something. Most people make up their mind about stuff the first time they encounter it and then never question the subconscious decision they made about it after that. In this case, most peoples first interaction with this system was Twitch streamers saying "Hope they don't make it into a battle pass system" and then the crowed heard "It's a battle pass" and then they never changed their mind.. It's the same reason many great games have such a hard time getting players, because their initial launch was shit and then people never gave it a 2nd try. There are some great comeback stories like No Mans Sky, but they are far and few between.

Even as far back as vanilla you could trade for cosmetic items, and I definitely went over the top in burning crusade. Finally, I don’t think we need a huge description about her account wide works.
