Queen Camilla Meets Acting Royalty During Rye Visit

- Queen Camilla visits the Church of St Mary and Lamb House in Rye, East Sussex.
Historic Lamb House, once home to novelists Henry James, Rumer Godden and E.F. Benson, also hosts a literature collection the Queen viewed as part of a tour of the property.
Her Majesty then attended a garden party where she met with Oscar winner Hayley Mills, and actor Timothy West among other guests. Report by Matthew Covell.

So happy to see Prunella Scales. Of course she played in Mapp and Lucia filmed in Rye. And Sir Timothy West who did narrowboat series. I don't know what Hayley Mills association with Rye is,
Her father made movie "Dunkirk"-part of which was filmed around Rye in 1958.
They both look so well, glad her husband has help, it is such a hard illness to deal with, I wish everyone with dementia had the same help ❤
