Hi girls word of advice when getting fuel. It’s a old trucker rule you should never get fuel first then shower. Because thieves be lurking to steal fuel. They know you we’ll be a minute in the shower and take advantage and steal people’s fuel. So rule of thumb is to get your fuel when you are ready to hit the road.
If you get plantium for the month it's unlimited showers and drinks. To get there we both use the same card to fuel and we can use a shower just to take a dump in private when we want. We use the points for truck items.

Back in the day (89-95) when I did layover trips in a R-Model Mack day-cab, I would give my shower tickets away to guys who'd be trying to buy one...nothing worse than smelling dry-roller. Our company paid for a hotel, so I didn't need the ticket and figured paying the goodwill forward was the right thing to do.
It’s worth it to stop at a motel 6 3 times a week and hit up a Walmart!! You’ll break even the same way if you was just hitting all the truck stops! You can still accumulate the points from fillin up for emergencies. This ain’t the way to live especially if your OTR!! Enjoy the life and save money while sleeping in a nice bed 3 times a week where you can get a shower

Can’t you do a shower check in on the Love’s app. When I’m done fueling, I check in on the app, you have 10 minutes so if there’s no wait I hurry up and park and go straight to the shower.
I was fueling at the flying j when I heard a guy tell another that the showers are filthy.... then I looked at the guy and saw all the rashes and obvious signs of hygiene neglect and figured he's just nasty lol

cobra66 yes it does. Here is how that works... you get your bag together first. You park first. THEN you use app, then walk inside. Simple. Every time you’re done showering, empty shower bag into dirty clothes bag and reload for next shower. You’re all set.
jose morales but if you reserve one you have it. Both drivers can reserve one or ask for the second one at desk explaining you have checked in already. Or... you shower first, then prop open door , let your teammate shower second and leave a clean towel. Do what you must.
Yea I spend 45 weeks out of the year living in my truck, but I am reefer. I was told by a guy who hauled cars they make $600 per car, and he just runs Florida to Jersey.
If ya go to the petro in salina ks and get a platinum shower it has a big screen tv in the mirror 3 shower heads and a 16ft tall rainshower head freakin love those showers

Just research the company before applying but usually all companies except individual driver's unless you want to be a team driver. All local companies only have single drivers. The best sites to use is Craigslist Indeed Simply hired Career builder Monster My go to are actually craigslist and indeed. Good luck driver and be safe. 12yrs experience
They have promotions like that occasionally.. i dont think they have that promotion right now. But i did get an extra 100 points fueling with the app when i clicked on "earn an extra 100 points" in the rewards part of the pilot/FJ app.
Yep, everything in trucking is an inconvenience. I hate going to Loves cause theres always a line @ the fuel island. And yeah, it definitely not cool to take a shower @ the fuel island. To all Future truckers dont do that. Also, 60 gallons for free shower @ Ta/Petro

Too many truck stops allow drivers to block pumps, I always avoid them, very frustrating!

Loves is better than pilot on points loves hold their points all year. Pilot only gives you a few days then takes them all away!

Those car haulers make like $600+ a car. So if they get 10 on the trailer that’s over $6000 fir one trip. Imagine if you get 2-3 in one week

They don’t make 600$ on each BUD. It’s a lot less. Only time you get 600$ is if you run it from coast to coast. That’s about one trip a week.

Eric Griswold used cars yes, but it’s also not very many times they all go the same place. It’s situational. But 600$ is too much.

Fuel at loves more often because of the better points program. I myself have just a little over 75,000 points on my loves card.

That's about 750 bucks and around 60 to 70 thousand gallons of fuel.
Rude to go take a shower while in fuel island. Always go park b4 getting shower.

I've walked past the showers before and I have seen the attendants cleaning with the used towels. I mean THE TOILET!!
That's why you use your own towels. I have seen them wipe the floor with those towels , gross.

Use the Pilot app I think you get 4x the points when you use the app to set up your fueling at a Pilot or flying j
