Going to see them in February. I know everyone says it but Mayday Parade honestly saved my life and seeing them in concert is going to be the best experience of my life. Certainly going to be a night I will never forget.
Yeah definite props to you for being nice about it, if you're into louder stuff/pure punk, you should check their first two albums (Tales Told By Dead Friends & A Lesson In Romantics) cuz those are by far their best albums.
Well I think all songs are different, you just got to understand. Listen to the lyrics, story line, the emotion in their voices. You'll understand it if you can relate I guess.

If you think Mayday Parade has changed, look at Of Mice and Men's new album Restoring Forces, it's sound is a bit more technical, way different from the other two albums. Listen to Sempiternal from Bring Me The Horizon, it's waaaay techno sounding! I love all the new sounds on new albums! If you support the band and love them with all of your heart, accept their change in how they sound. :)

it seems as bands get older people like their new songs. However its because they have changed their sound. Most bands get tired of the same old stuff so they start changing and experimenting with new sounds. Its also cause vocalists leave bands so the new stuff wont sound the same with the new vocalist. Also in ATLs case they were 16 when they first started so now they are grown so Alex's voice will sound different after puberty. The new stuff is still good though.
I don't get it, I disagree so much :s. I've been trying to tell everyone that this album is in class with ALIR (Maybe even better), but all i'm getting is hate lol :). Atleast we all have our opinions!

Im probably the only one but so far im pretty disappointed with the album. I think its strange that bands like All Time Low and Mayday Parade had much better stuff when they were younger. For example Put Up or Shut Up is much better than Dont Panic, same as A Lesson In Romantics is much better than this.
