Mayday Parade got me through, possibly the toughest period of my life, and hopefully I won't have to fight anything similar going forward, but I honestly say with my whole heart - they are a large part in my still being around. Songs like this, listened to on repeat, with a good doob in hand, got me through what should have killed me. The lyrics spoke for me, as I couldn't speak myself, and the lyrics got my feelings out, as I couldn't get them out any other way. The songs spoke to me, so many, so fucking many - through so many albums, and Mayday have stayed true to their core, and I'm so thankful for that, because there's hope that there is new content, new gems, to get me through more tough times to come. Bands like them, severely underrated!
