If you add the chips to the lane changer tracks to prevent cars from changing lanes into each other it will disrupt the continuous power and yes power jumpers would have to be installed where the switches are otherwise they are not needed unless the track gets really long. Hope it helps.
Did you have to power jump your track to get continuous power throughout the track? Can you video how you did it?
No. there are no jumpers at all. No more than 4 cars at a time or it will require it. Keeping the track clean is important for conductivity.
