I setup up a similiar system but I have the Membrane mounted with the waster water and product water exit from the bottom. 180 degrees. My tap is 60 psi and everything is connected to 3/4 inch hoses. My question is, it seem like I'm getting more of a trickle of water from the exit fitting. Does it matter what orientation the membrane is in? After watching this, it seems to me that I should flip my membrane around to get more water coming through. Any help would be appreciated.
Wishing I went to the smaller filters. The 4 x21 is like the size of a small DI tank. I keep my DI tanks separate. I have a 3/4 cube so on a simple dolly in case I just need DI only, other dual DI cart or mounted on cart if I need to filter ro too.
Your cart looks nice compared to my Frankenstein set up. LOL. I finally dismounted mine and carted it. Used all parts and pieces had laying around. Gets 3 or 4 from 248ppm. May post a video to my channel today.
Hi can I ask you a question I have ordered a 4040 and just about to order some pre filter housing but they are asking me what port size for the pre filters yours looks like 3/4 would that be right great vid by the way
Thanks for the reply mate. But that doesn't really answer my question. The Hf4 come in low and extra/ultra low membranes. So which one is it. Please and thank you
I dont use an RO Cartridge On my trolly i use the following Its a 6 stage filtration setup So i use a 2 stage water filtration system 20 inch cartridges 5 micron sediment filter Carbon filter To the rear i use a 3 stage heavy metal filtration system 10 inch cartridges 1 micron sediment filter Carbon kdf filter Carbon blocker filter Then the crem de la crem A unger hydropower ultra 6 litre di with tds So the only expensive kit the hydropwer but it was beneficial The filters were very cheap i order plenty to get me by I use 100kg trolly which is beneficial But the filtration is really good i done a job last weekend using this system customer was very proud with the setup i was using and the result said it all no spotting clean windows happy customer The tds came out 320ppm I live in luton on the Chiltern hills Very chalky and very heavy scale To use my set up well one good thing was it worked and having a combination of 2 and 3 stage filtration shows that if i was to use a basic di system then my resin would be gone in seconds the water filtration ststem has been 100 percent effective I be using pleated sediment filter next time 5 and 10 micron they offer higher filtration high flow rate and they can be washed and reused So again somthing new i learnt

Great work 👍 enjoy watching

Ciao un informazione la membrana 4040 a quanto bar deve lavorare? E che tipo di membrana stai usando bassa o alta energia grazie mille
Nice setup you got there! The valve on the ro I guess you open that fully to flush the membrane? Cheers
can you drink the water from this system @??
have you got s link for the pressure gauge
do you know how to set the rejection rate of waste water
Reallly good video thank you mate! do you just take the waste water to a drain or do you keep it for gardening etc?
Just got the same set up but no setup instructions... have any? Cheers
How do you have the RO set in the bottom??
just using twin di tanks, would using twin carbon filters help? or is one enough?
Great vid
Great information thank you
All of that is just for window cleaning? 😅😅

I think that sounds right. Dont quote me on it though!
hi my 40 40 ro system dribbles into the tank? how can I fix this?
Booster pump mate
Hello mate. What membrane do you have. Low pressure/ ultra low?
Thanks for the reply mate. But that doesn't really answer my question. The Hf4 come in low and extra/ultra low membranes. So which one is it. Please and thank you
Do you use a pump to get the 60 -80 psi?
I dont use an RO Cartridge
On my trolly i use the following
Its a 6 stage filtration setup
So i use a 2 stage water filtration system 20 inch cartridges
5 micron sediment filter
Carbon filter
To the rear i use a 3 stage heavy metal filtration system 10 inch cartridges
1 micron sediment filter
Carbon kdf filter
Carbon blocker filter
Then the crem de la crem
A unger hydropower ultra 6 litre di with tds
So the only expensive kit the hydropwer but it was beneficial
The filters were very cheap i order plenty to get me by
I use 100kg trolly which is beneficial
But the filtration is really good i done a job last weekend using this system customer was very proud with the setup i was using and the result said it all no spotting clean windows happy customer
The tds came out 320ppm
I live in luton on the Chiltern hills
Very chalky and very heavy scale
To use my set up well one good thing was it worked and having a combination of 2 and 3 stage filtration shows that if i was to use a basic di system then my resin would be gone in seconds the water filtration ststem has been 100 percent effective
I be using pleated sediment filter next time 5 and 10 micron they offer higher filtration high flow rate and they can be washed and reused
So again somthing new i learnt
