This song has a special place on the shelf for me. Before I got spinal surgery, I was told that there was a slim chance that I would die, it was slim but the chance was there. So the last song I wanted to listen to was this one. Before, I actually wanted the surgery to fail and kill me, but at that moment I really didn't. I had a girlfriend at the time, my life had a future ahead of it, and I wanted to live. So I associated this song along with Sakanaction's other songs with the great times those days were, a celebration of living. Of course I lost a lot along the way to where I am now. But I will continue to strive to find that new treasure island.
