This song has a special place on the shelf for me. Before I got spinal surgery, I was told that there was a slim chance that I would die, it was slim but the chance was there. So the last song I wanted to listen to was this one. Before, I actually wanted the surgery to fail and kill me, but at that moment I really didn't. I had a girlfriend at the time, my life had a future ahead of it, and I wanted to live. So I associated this song along with Sakanaction's other songs with the great times those days were, a celebration of living. Of course I lost a lot along the way to where I am now. But I will continue to strive to find that new treasure island.
I know this reply is hella late, I forgot I even had this channel. I forgot about this song too and how good it was. But thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad you pulled through and can associate this song with something so powerful. Hope you're doing well to this day man 🙏💙 Music is amazing
