This segment is nonsense. Y'all are reaching for content. WA obviously isn't convinced about the QB choices that they have. Are draft picks really that entitled to not be able to handle this scenario??
But it's an objectively bad scenario. I get it, it's an honor and a privilege to play, but a dysfunctional team will always do dysfunctional things. Why make them play golf together? Why not a normal workout/interview with the organization? What does any of that accomplish?
Then they should trade the pick and roll with Mariota for the 2024 season. They'll probably be picking top 2 next year again anyway.

I've heard that Daniel's lead agent called " the fixer", has spoken to Washington and put out a report that Daniel's would be happy to play wherever he is drafted. That all this is a big crap pile.

Washington tried something different which is the team’s prerogative since they will be committing $10’s of millions of dollars to these prospects.
I would say that there are many here on TH-cam who do a great job to take the NFL downtime to do last season reviews, film studies, and roster projections instead of par taking in rumor mill chatter.
Why are they assuming that they are taking Daniels? The entire clips rest on the assumption that offending your franchise qb is bad, but If they are inviting all the qbs then it means that they are not convinced. Honestly it a bad look for Daniels and his agent as they are the only ones to complain about it.

It would be an even bigger indication of the Commanders being a horrible-run organization if they didn't know by then. Also, have you watched the tape? Why would any team not take Daniels at #2? The only way I could see someone taking someone like Maye is if they have a QB whisperer to help him grow as he sits behind another starter like in Minnesota or New York. The Commanders have neither. I do admit Penix is an interesting prospect too. I hope the Commanders messed this up so badly that Daniels falls to my Raiders. That's our only hope of getting a tier 1 QB this year

Just heard Daniels himself say that he's happy to play wherever he's drafted because it's above his pay grade. He had positive energy when he spoke about being drafted and starting his career wherever he goes. Florio just wants him to fall to the Vikings 🙄

It makes sense for WASH to also look into the other options for QB. If they don't insist on drafting Daniels, then they could trade down maybe to three or some other high pick.

Florio and Simms could care less about the Commanders well-being. Failure is fine by them. Drafting Jayden Daniels will lead to failure.
The Giants recently signed an FA running back that was told he was ineligible for the draft. He apparently missed his draft window when he attempted to go back to school due to missing the season in 2020/injuries. Since he was ineligible, the league told him he was an FA & could sign with any team.
In theory, is there anything preventing a player (Daniels) who doesn't want to get drafted by a certain team to "sit out" during their draft window & come back the following season as an FA? 🤔
The biggest problem with this video is that they’re assuming the Commanders like and are going to take Jayden Daniels number 2 overall. Clearly they’re not convinced and haven’t decided who they’re going to take and the way JD and his camp reacted to this is not a good look.

My take is this if JD5 doesn't want to come here then own it! It's fine to want to play for Vegas but that doesn't mean its going to happen. If we decide to draft him @ 2 I believe he will show up & show out. Mike & Chris all they do is bitch & cry about something. Just last week Chris called Mike a cry baby now they banned together to hate on the Commanders. To my understanding no one said a thing when Bill & the 49ers were doing it. I’m 60 years old and have pretty bad arthritis. And if the Commanders called me up today and asked me if I’d like to be the second-overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft I’d say, “Hell to the No!” and hang up on Magic Johnson. Now if I wouldn’t want to play for Washington, I can’t imagine a QB with as much talent as Jayden wanting to play there. (In all seriousness he IS really good with a very high ceiling. He has a really quick release and strong arm - watch his Pro Day if you disagree - but then go watch some of his game-day throws and his wheels too. Take Marino and give him nearly the running ability to Lamar and you get, well, Jayden. My only knock might be: hey, learn to slide. NFL QBs can’t get hurt.). (That comment by Simms, “I don’t care what Joey from Twitter says,” is hilarious.)

It's probably the simple option where the owner had one day available and wanted to meet all the top prospects.
My hot take: The Vikings and the Patriots already have a trade deal. But they will only do it if the Commanders pass on Daniels because O'Connell wants Daniels. And maaaaaybeeee word about that trade proposition got to Daniels' camp so he can act accordingly ;)
These two are terrible! It’s new ownership and a new front office, so the lazy take of “dysfunctional Washington Commanders” is no longer valid. The Dan Snyder thing to do was to kiss the butt of the quarterback they’re taking, which is what they are proposing. Adam Peters has been around two championship organizations and assistant GM of the 49ers, I trust he knows what they are doing.

It's a chance to evaluate players in a setting in the facility. They haven't put themselves in a bad spot at all, if Jayden Daniels is revealing himself to be a prissy prima donna (he isn't from what I've seen) then you wouldn't want him as your potential QB in the draft. These pair need to take a big break in the off season instead of making up crap to broadcast. The draft can't come quick enough, seems like the inane fishwifery of clowns like Florio in particular gets worse every year.

The Top Golf group interview is a weird corporate thing. I was involved with one of these once. They started having people dance and other weird stuff. I left after 5 minutes. This mess was stirred by Jayden agent. His agent never should have been on twitter liking tweets questioning how Washington does business. We didn’t see anything negative post from the other candidates. Now it’s Washington fault?🤷🏿♂️ I missing it. The meetings and Top Golf was a 2 day process. Washington was still able to talk with each prospect separately. Jayden and his Agent really screwed this up and I don’t want to hear “oh his agent did this not the player”. Jayden agent is a representation of him, almost like a mouth piece when it comes to the money side of things. I don’t think Washington drafts Jayden. Washington was never sold on Jayden anyways. @@craigburgess7105 they just wanted stability at head coach. Somebody who can fire his guys up and put them in the best position to succeed. Quinn is one of the better coaches in the league and has had success everywhere he's been. Not sold on Kingsbury, but at least he has NFL experience as a play caller and had some success.
@@brandondillman5841 all we can do is wait and see how it pans out. Quinn's alright, pretty good, does get found out (they all do tbf) from time to time. Not sure about Kingsbury in the NFL though. I was a Washington fan for a about 30 years before Snyder (hideous person) finally turned me to being neutral (about 2010 time). I enjoy the NFL more now - didnt think I would but I do. (maybe I still hold a little dislike for the the Cowboys 😅) Looking forward to the draft.
Every commenter here would be pissed if they were invited to a job interview (which these top 30 visits are) and they were led into a room with 20 other people to have a group interview. Daniels is right to be unhappy about it. Teams have plenty of opportunity to have these one on one.
