This was the real Veronica expressing her inner pain. Despite being known as the number 1 rich party girl. Inside she's just a broken girl wanting someone to see past her image. And love her for real. The pain she expresses though her eyes is just deeply intense and tragically amazing scene.

It's so heartbreaking when she says that because her parents have neglected her from a young age. Heck, we never hear about her mom. Her own dad never contacts her and only sends her money and she doesn't know where he is or what he's doing. She has never felt genuine love or warmth before she met Meera and Gautam.

i can understand veronica's situation. she starts thinking about gautam as her soulmate. she becomes dependent on him. she thinks that he will change her and save her from all the ugliness of relationships that she has seen in her life by marrying her. but when gautam tells her that he loves meera and not her, she becomes shattered from inside. she couldn't deal with how gautam backstabs her by sleeping with her and then deciding to marry her best friend instead of her. it really hurts when you trust someone and become so reliable on them and then that person ditches you. it's the worst feeling ever!
I think Deepika has gone through this kind of heartbreak before which made this scene look so real.
And that is why I hated cocktail movie,time pass karna Hai to Veronica jaisi ladki chahiye,or Shaadi k liye Meera.Jerks like Gautam should not have been accepted by any girl in real life.

She was horrible to Meera , tortured her and kicked her out of her apartment and out of boy's life - knowing all well.

AKANKSHA AKANKSHA no, not that. Why couldn’t he see that Veronica was doing so much for him ? She was with him for the whole time, it’s obvious that she would have developed some feelings for him. Also, Veronica helped Meera poor girl in the movie, she gave her shelter, so so should have been able to understand by now that she shouldn’t think about falling for said, also saif wasn’t a right person to be Veronica’s bf/ husband. Veronica was an exceptional woman!
Both Veronica and Meera should have left Gautam. On one side Meera left Gautam because she cared about Veronica'a feelings, and on other side, Veronica did the same and let Gautam go despite of having feelings for him. Both friends made sacrifices for each other. But what did Gautam do? Lmfao nothing
But meera and gautam love each other. Personally i like the movie (one of my favorite) . It's a happy ending movie.
