All depika's were flopping before this movie. But this movie really was the turning point of her career. What a performance, she's nailed this scene where she's smiling like it's nothing but deep inside she's hurt so bad. Only a great actor could do this

Actually when gautam tells veronica that he loves meera, she was in confusion and she was trying to process what's happening. that's why she smiles when gautam says "you love me, i love her." but then veronica tries to handle the situation with a smile on her face throughout.

Gautam is dancing and sleeping around with Veronica for the longest time, but suddenly one day he has a conversation with Meera about how she does not have to think low about herself coz her husband left her..then he goes back romances with Veronica..and the kisses Meera at the end of day and calls it love..duuude wtf..I have wayy more emotional and serious conversations with my guy friends but I still love my husband 😍

Veronica, Gautam and Meera are three lost souls who were betrayed by someone they loved. All three of them need someone significant.
1. Gautam and Veronica were clear about their relationship. It was no strings attached.
2. Gautam never mooched off Veronica.
3. Gautam and Meera never did anything wrong behind Veronica’s back even though they were not in a serious relationship.
I agree Veronica was hurt but that doesn’t mean anyone cheated her. Meera even left everything. Veronica threw her out of her house. Veronica emotionally blackmailed Gautam to stay with her and he was gentleman enough.
You can’t force anyone to love you.
Bottom line: these kinda relationships are wrong from the beginning because at the end of the day, your dignity matters the most. Both men and women should know their limits and not make fun of the sacred bond of marriage.

If he weren't dying, he would not give up a day of his life with that girl. And she did not lie to him or betray him. Lies and betrayal make the situation all the more painful.
