I like the idea of heating the sleeve. Never tried that one before. A couple tips I've used for seal installation, I've used a sheet of plastic paper lamination and wrapped it around the shaft before sliding the seal over the shaft. Sucks when u get it all back together just to find you nicked the seal while installing it. I've also used anaerobic sealer under the sleeve, to elevate any issue of leakage under the seal. Hey Ed, the cross the line start does sound pretty aggressive especially when above 100 HP. The official Sullair video doesn't show how to remove and reinstall the wear sleeve only the lip seal...Sullair has a tool but it's kinda pricey, I don't know why they didn't show how to R&R the sleeve in there video
