A bit dissapointed with Suzuki and Slaf to start. But hey. Still love what im seeing from the boys. And Hutson looks like a Calder lock haha.
Right on man! It won't always smell like Roses with our top line, as they are constantly facing other top lines, so there will be off games. They will be fine over time.

Primeau has always looked shaky for years except that fluke run last year. he was awfully shaky in college as well even though his stats were great, because Northeastern was pure defense, a defense first kinda team.
Armia seems to play well with Gallagher and Evans. Keep that line intact. Rotate Heineman and Kapanan on the first line with Suzuki and Caufield. Slafkofsky should play with Dach and Newhook. Better balance on the top six this way.
I'm liking the young movement on the Habs roster so I feel more patience with a greater amount of hope since they gave Bergevin and Timmins the boot. At least the Habs gave Swayman a 4.00 GAA.
He's gotta play the season over there. The talks could only purport to post KHL season stuff. He's stuck there for a season. It's punishing a possible franchise player for leaving Russia to chase the big bucks if you will (or the better option for him). The west does hockey better (and you add the war situation), it's hard on their moral. It's all political imo.

A bunch of ex nhl players who went over there have told stories about what kind of shady stuff happens in that joke of a league . Players paid in cash , rampant steroid use , intimidation , extortion … You can find some podcasts where retired players talk about what goes on over there . Josh Henessy went on spitting chicklets and talked about it .

I am not sure why he keeps ghosting when he plays with higher level teammates, it looks like his IQ reduces and he barely makes any plays or seems too scared to hold it longer. Plus hes not even boarding as much as he did last year. Hes really trying to play like a winger woth out doing anything 😑. This guy need to wake up quick!!!!

Primeau had a better GAA and Save Percentage than both Montambealult and Allen last season. Why such a premature knee-jerk reaction over one game? Like Carey Price said: Chill.
Matheson was so bad, in my opinion he is the reason the 1st pp unit looked so bad. You replace him with Hutson there and it will look 10x better. Armia has been terrible to start the season. I want to see Struble and Mailloux in for Barron and Xhekaj.

IMHO, Habs have a goaltending problem at the backup position - Primeau has not proven himself to be a competent NHL goalie

How many goalies ever play back-to-backs now? It rarely happens. Nearly every coach in the league would've given Primeau that start.
