When they finally got around to Mike to comment, when he went off on crooked promoters and managers and under the table deals in the boxing world -- the moderator quickly pivoted away from Mike and changed the subject very quickly and he was not brought back into the convo again. PS- Mike looks the best, healthiest in years -- he is really fit, pumped up and his face looks far younger, it is because he cannot smoke week in Saudi - so he is super clean - i wish he would give up the weed -

Promoters are leeches, draining the life blood from the sport...they're the main reason along with management companies of holding back the biggest fights and conning the paying fan. For to long the sport has been corrupted by shady business tactics and fighters have been shafted, the best should fight the best at their peak. I hope this new business method is not just talk and really sticks to what it is proposing, love to see iron Mike talking truth he knows more than anyone what boxing promoters are all about.🥊🥊

Yet I can look back and say I made a mistake here and there, I can't look back and say I made a conscious decision to take up a religion for the sake of money, and when not around anyone of my religion I act the opposite as my religion's rules dictate.

@JbDollaway No one is perfect, but these attitudes still need to be challenged - The things he said, didnt just appear the day he said / typed them.....Those are opinions harboured by friends and / or famiy - and he IS just a kid......but if we accept it, he may well become a 30 and 40 year old saying these same things. Its not acceptable and there has been too much acceptance of racism, especially certain types of racism for way too long now. I think people are starting to become a little tired of being tollerant and understanding now and if we accpet that THIS type of racism is ok, we're gonna have accept that other tpyes of racism is ALSO ok......and I dont think we want to do that. We should surely look to progress in society, rather than to stagnate, especially regarding issues like this.

It is true. Fighters should be the boss. Promoters have too much say. Most are affiliated with one TV network. Which basically stop the fights from happening. The Saudis could literally take boxing over if they bypass the promoter and networks and deal on a fight by fight basis. Even Del Boy can see the future lol

It’s the promoter that allows the big payday. Otherwise a fighter would be fighting in a field in front of 3 men and a dog.
A promoter has to organise the entire event, package it up for a broadcaster, assume all the risk and if the fighters mess up it’s his/her fault. I’m not saying all promotors are straight laced, but they are a necessary evil to ensuring there is ANY money in the sport.
What you are saying is true but it’s got to the point where they aren’t making the fights, being greedy and protecting their assets. People have realised this and can now do their own promoting. Look at Jake Paul and ksi they’re filling the void. So called proper promoters are killing the sport
