Alhamdulillah. I’m delighted to see the salafi dawah being spread through YT shorts.
The people of biddah are running wild with the use of these platforms to gain followers.
Please make content in a way so that it may be used by brothers like myself to build a channel around such content and spread it far and wide.

    Baarakallaahu feekum dear brothers
I would like to know since when ustaadh hasan has become a shaykh?

The senior scholar, Shaykh Rabe'e, referred to Hasan as a "shaykh" i.e. a teacher of Islam and Sunnah so there is nothing wrong in us likewise referring to him as "shaykh": soundcloud.com/germantown-masjid/shaykh-rabee-advice-germantown-winter-conference. The word "shaykh" doesn't mean "aalim" i.e. scholar
      wa feek baarak Allah ahki

@@DaarusSunnahIsn't that misleading then? When someone sees the title 'Shaykh' before a name, theyre going to assume that person is a scholar

      Who's doing the misleading?
Do you want us to change the Arabic language for the sake of some people's false assumptions? Lol ..or do you want us to refer to our teachers and elders the same way we would refer to any random brother?
If you're uncomfortable with using the Arabic word "shaykh" use the English word "teacher" instead. It's more or less the same thing.

@@DaarusSunnah Fair enough. Is it the same case with the other teachers associated with spubs like Abu Khadeejah, Abu Hakeem, Lahmami, Musa Richardson. Have they all been referred to as 'shaykh' by a senior scholar?
