ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response it is described as a pleasurable tingling sensation that can be felt most commonly in the back of the scalp and down the spine but not limited to these area's.
I try to describe ASMR experience to people using something common like visiting a hairdresser, do you find the experience of someone focusing on you, the gentle touching of your hair, the sound of the scissors moving around you relaxing?
That would be a relaxing experience, watching ASMR video is like recreating that type of experience.
I believe most people can experience ASMR, to experience ASMR you need to find you trigger, common triggers will often be related to one person focusing on you or another person and watching this person focus or give them attention will trigger it.

Any type of Role Play the best ones are ones that involve personal attention to you, examinations, face brushing ect
Watching someone draw or paint
Sounds : Crinkle, Tapping, Scratching & multi layering of different sounds together
Almost anything can be a "trigger' for a persons ASMR everybody is different, you just have to find yours.
As with all my video, my intentions is always to provide you a little home away from home, where you can kick back relax and always find a new and unique experience as i guide you with sights & sound to a relaxing location where my objective is to let you feel gentle waves of relaxation & ASMR until you close your eye to fall into a peaceful sleep.

I must confess that you were not my favorite asmr artist when I first started watching asmr videos (mainly because of your low deep voice), but I've grown to like your voice in your soft-spoken massage video and this whisper is perfect. I can fall asleep to it pretty easily. Thanks!
Have watched many of Dimitri's videos but this one escaped me until now. It's so well done, a great take on IronMonkey's concept. The voicework is just right, the drawing, and the massage description are all on point.
Drawing was a major trigger for me as a kid, but check this out, it was even a bigger trigger when it was someone that borrowed a pencil or coloring pencils that I knew belonged to me. My oh my, I would lend my pencils like crazy... just for the sweet feeling of ASMR!

I got crazy ASMR triggers when I asked for help in elementary school and my teacher would lean half-way over me and draw examples to make me understand better :D
I am the total opposite. I hear it and start imagining how they are destroying my art supplies with their inexperience and it stresses me out. Very few people are allowed to touch my supplies.

This will be the first time pencil on paper has triggered me. I don't usually go for normal writing on paper so much, but this was great. It must be the hurried style of fast writing that I don't go for so much,

And I want to add that the visuals help. Because I tried only "listening" to ASMR videos and it seems like it doesn't work with only the sound on me.
The physical triggers were minimal for me than usual but wow, I feel like I am dissociating into a very therapeutic, euphoric feeling from a combination of watching someone draw and childhood memories of having my own coloured pencils. This is making me so happy, that I don't want to fall asleep watching it. Thanks so much, Dmitri! ❤️

yup i was thinking this at the start, it would put the sides of head and shoulders closer to each mic, for slightly better effect. It really is uncanny how good those mics are though, that even now one pickcs up more then the other just based on a couple inches of space.
Yeah I understand, don't want to be too critical though.
PseudoTactics I'm looking for mics, though I don't know if I'd want super cardoid, not really sure. I do know even these mics still pick up all the room sound if you move away so I am looking more at normal cardoid mics to get less of the abrupt change. I'd like to get omni's as well but, can't afford too many mics + headphones + interface etc...
