It also really depends on how strongly they identify as a Muslim. A close friend of ours recently gave his life to Christ. The biggest thing to him, was that he admitted that when he prayed it was like talking to a wall, and that God couldn't hear him. When we described the wall of sin between us and God, the description of the veil or curtain of the temple being torn when Jesus died on the cross, it was a huge eye opener to him. His issues were not as theological, as it was a strong tie to his heritage. Making the distinction between religion and culture/family values was huge. It took about a year of genuine friendship and sharing the gospel, and he gave his heart to Christ! Only through the Holy Spirit!

Thanks for sharing this. He didn't just give, he received the life of Christ. As we have nothing to offer to God, He offered us everything

@@punisherlee Amen. It goes both ways. Surrendering to Him as a living sacrifice because we receive eternal life.

Dr Wood's Acts17Apologetics channel is an excellent resource for more a much more detailed answer to this question.
And I commend Dr Brown for his role in reaching Muslims worldwide. He started a seminary here in Davao City, Philippines, in which I am honored to participate. Laborers are being raised up to reach the millions of Muslims on our island of Mindanao.

@tim hamat Jesus himself claimed to be God... He NEVER deneid.. therefor God of the Bible can do "anything" can take any form and took Finite form when he came to earth to speak to the prophets because we are Human... only for us...that is the beauty of Bible and the God of Bible "Can do anything"... if he would have releaved himself with all his power in human form nobody would able to stand in front of him we are not worthy to even look at him therefore for our sake Jesus came with human charactersticks as well as Lord's charactersticks...still without any Sinn show me one single man in the history of mankind on the face of the earth without Sin...for Human its impossible impossible to live without sinn...

@tim hamat I'm relatively sure it is "hanged from a tree", not a cross and "noone can bear the sins of another" is Islamic theology, not Christian.
You can burn strawmans all you like, but why not read the things you try to teach others about yourself?

    • @celticwinter

@tim hamat Greek is xylou ξύλου, tree
P.S.: this is interpreted through Christian theology, but that doesn't change the text of the original Greek. But I'm sure the theology will go right over your head anyway. Much easier to accuse people of lying without any knowledge of the matter. This is why people laugh about Muslims. Just like the Jews of his time laughed about Muhammads crippled understanding of theology.

@@celticwinter Like these . . . *Qur'an 2:106* “If We abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten, We *REPLACE* it with a better or similar one. Do you not know that Allah is Most Capable of everything?”
*Qur'an 3:54* “Allah countered their schemes by schemes of His own. Allah is the best of *SCHEMERS”*
*Qur'an 4:82* “Do they not ponder about the Qur’an? Had it been from any other than Allah, they would surely have found in it much *INCONSISTENCIES.”*
*Qur'an 15:9* "Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian." Thus it is not Our Messenger whom you are _calling_ *INSANE* but in fact this abusive remark applies to _us._
*Qur'an 16:101* “When We replace a verse with another and Allah knows best what He reveals - they say, “You ˹Muḥammad˺ are just a *FABRICATOR* In fact, most of them do not know.”

@tim hamat If you think the God of Islam is the same as Christianity you know neither of those religions particularly well.

@@celticwinter The Muslim God and Christian God are different. The Christian God had a son, Jesus. Meanwhile, the Moon God married Shams Al-Shumus, the Sun Goddess. Together they had they had 3 goddesses: Al-lat, Al-uzza (both named after their Father) and Manat, aka “The Daughters of Allah” (Allah itself came from the Canaanite God, Ba’al).

Most Muslims are not familiar with their texts. They regurgitate what they have been imbibed by their Imams. I try to point them to their sources and once they begin to read and see things for themselves, it affects their perspective.

How would I approach a teenage muslim girl? I work with her, she doesn’t seem to have any values. Poor work ethic, doesn’t care about anything... I wasn’t even like that before I was saved, as a teenager. I valued my boss’s business and customers... I don’t know how I could possibly approach her...
This young girl has been on my heart since meeting her. :(

Try what was said in this video. Also, mention the fact that the Bible has been preserved. Show that we have old manuscript fragments from before AD 100 for the new testament, and 1500BC for the old testament. Tell her that the Bible serves as an accurate history book and show the prophecies that have been fulfilled. Lastly, mention that all religions except Christianity are works based.
