No BadShad ? Man that color is my #1. It works great all year , all weather conditions and all water conditions. Reminds me of a little mullet. My #2 is Wright stuff and #3 is Beer Run Those 3 colors are on me at all times.
C A. I just finished my evening fix of your ‘TH-cam’ shows. This one was a presenting the top 6 + 1 colors to have in every Tackle box. It was exceptional. I’ve watched a lot of fishing shows over my 70+ years and two of the many that I won’t miss were Spanish Fly (reruns now) and your Flats Class TH-cam shows. It took me a few tries to ID why they are so important to me and it comes down to one simple common denominator. I LEARN SOMETHING NEW AND MANY TIMES IMPORTANT TO MY FISHING EXPERIENCE on everyone of your shows. I ALWays LEARN SOMETHING ON YOUR SHOWS AND LEARNED A LOT FROM MY FRIEND JOSE. WE WERE ABLE TO WORK TOGETHER ON Navionics Projects and I last saw Jose Wejebe at the Miami boat show right before his untimely passing. As far as I’m concerned 80% of the others are just fishing and no learning. Thanks for your efforts. LCinOH
Just this last weekend I was fishing in the Tomoka River (Ormond Beach, FL, central east coast) which happens to be very tannic brackish water, was using beer run diesel minnow on a Texas eye. Caught my second best ever snook, and a ton mudfish. Best day I’ve ever had fishing the Tomoka River, and my dad has taken me there for as long as I can remember. I will definitely be buying some more beer run lures.
Thanks CA, Beer Run for me, rigged Texas eye. What about a go to size 3” or 4”? I lean to smaller 3” , doesn’t matter the season, I often wonder about going to bigger 4” if you were in unfamiliar territory what size would you go with?
Love your videos, I try to use your knowledge and mine together to help when I hit the surf in NJ. I know you guys have way more game fish down there. I'd like to see a flounder video. I will say my catch has gone up since switching to Zman. My got colors up here, coconut ice, pearl, and smelt. Smelt is magical when the sand eels show
I love the deal but I have to go to ten different stores to find a pack thats actually poured to have that good bicolor look.A lot of packs have too much opaque through the top wich doesn't matter when fish aren't picky but sometimes fish just are.
In my opinion, the reason many clear/pearl with dark flake baits work so well is that they resemble a soft-shell crab. In clear Smallmouth streams they resemble a molting crayfish.
I normally throw a white bait like pearl blue glimmer or a dark bait like a black/red with chartreuse tail. I bought some beer runs from you trying to win that free trip (😥). When the fishing picks up around Galveston Bay I’ll put them to the test.
I fish with a few veteran fishermen who usually outfish me. Whenever I want to settle the score (and sometimes take the lead) The Wright Stuff is what I rig! Could be just a placebo effect for me but that underwhelming color kicks some serious ass for some reason.
Interesting selection CA. I agree with 2 of them....but Mulletron, redbone, and a few others are some of the go to baits for my area of FL.... I think a lot depends on the water color. Essentially, I'd say grab the 5 that most look like either (1) the bait in your area, or (2) the water color in your area, and then add a white version (pearl, pearl blue glimmer, opening night, or slam shady - the zman color not the non-zman soft plastic) for #6 and call it a day.
I live in Mexico and i fish for pacific snook all year round and some places the water is very dark almost black what color of swimbait would be the best.and i would like to know if z man lures can be shipped to me?
Cap how does fried bologna sell?? I freakin love that color, I've smashed quite a few reds with it. This all just goes to show all kinds of colors and sizes work.
Well it ticked up to 28k subscribers. It just blows my mind Cap doesn't gain more subscribers each month with the amount of content and the quality. This is solid gold inshore knowledge he's kicking here!!! Decades of experience!!!! Cap you may have to do an episode with strippers on your hells bay or something to get a million views real quick. That'll help😂😂😂😂😈🤘🤘🇺🇲🇺🇲

Beer Run does great for the reds here on the Space Coast. 4” Diesel Minnow w/ Texas Eye on the flats is tough to beat.
Really surprised that SexyPenny didn’t make that list - that combo of New Penny with the Chartreuse belly has always produced in inshore environments
I just picked that color up and was wondering if it would be good. Thank you!
I caught so many reds on Slam Shady that I'm scared to try anything else
Great video CA. Also (2) great colors in stained water or on heavy overcast days are electric chicken and sexy mullet.

Thanks Capitan - great information for a new artificial fisherman
One color that is a must have here in NC is redbone
Beer Run is great because I can fish blue/green water as well as dirtier/tea colored water... the two tones make it valuable for us...

All of those colors work fresh or salt. Always look forward to your tips and info❤
Festivus is my favorite Zman color that produces for me.

John Skinner has a bunch of flounder videos relevant to you.

Gold rush....better known as Texas Roach. A texas roach and a pearl. All I need.
Good stuff CA I need to add a couple more z mans to my bag
Thank you
I catch more fish on the Gobe Bryant color.

Beer Run is one of my confidence baits.
What water clarity do you mainly throw it in ? If you don’t mind me asking bro.

Shocked Purple Demon wasn't on here!
I actually just tried that color Friday night. Got some trout and snook on it around docks
@@artificialslinger9730 it's easily one of the best
@@jnorman975 Ive had this pack of purple demon for a few years and Friday was first time using them 😂. But I'm hoping to get more confidence with it

@Jnorman975 man the purple demon Kicker Crabz is straight money right now in my area of south Carolina for redfish right now

I'd be interested in knowing your Top 6 colors @Kayak Fishing Addict
@C.A. Richardson what lures is that green pumpkin black flake you showed in the video?
Very surprised a chartreuse or a glow color didn't make your list.
Gotta get that beer run for flamingo see what happens
I wish you could talk more about Zman’s UV colored baits like Houdini , Shiner, Beer Run, redbone, hot snakes etc.
It's hard to beat the Slam Shady color that Salt Strong came out with but Z Man makes baits in the same color.
Great video and tips. 👍 🎣 🇺🇸
I know it's a new year so out with the old but I miss last year's theme music.
Ohhh man I jam out every single video!! 😂😂. Literally jamming out to it
Usually just pack a dark color and a light color. I believe presentation is more important
Is the zman plastic Safe to put in a tackle tray? Like you have thanks 😊
1 vote for Dark & Stormy

Do zman baits not melt in the buzbe boxes? I’ve tried having them in my normal boxes and they always end up melting

Does it matter the shape of the lure based n colors
Flats daddy inshore jeesus!
Me looking at my order with purple demon in it sussly

What about the slam shady. You can put all those other colors away, slam shady will catch a redfish in a mud puddle 🙄
