Do recommend it one more time for its fast food- pav bhaji, chole bhature, papdi chat, aloo tikki and yeah sweets they are the best in whole jammu region.

I just did my road trip from West Bengal to Ladakh. Post Delhi, I took the road via Murthal- Ambala- Ludhiana- Pathankot- Samba- Jammu- Ramban- Srinagar- Sonmarg- Zojila- Drass- Kargil- Leh. Roads are under construction in Samba- Jammu area. Roads in Ramban area is also under construction. Traffic movement is also slow near Zojila area. I took me in total 5 days to reach from my hometown (Dinhata, West Bengal) which is near Siliguri to Leh, Ladakh. I was driving Honda BRV -Petrol(Automatic) and got a mileage of 14. Good luck, safe drive.

So be ready. I m 65 n like only few YTs n u qualify for that. Delhi jammu is my favourite route n during my schooling in 60-70s i used to travel to visit my grand parents by buses only upto Mukerian before Pathankot n it was single road then. Hi Dr Mani, can you please tell me whether you find that the missing ventilated seats are a huge deal? WHen you travel long distances, do you feel that seats would've been mroe comfortable if there were ventelated seats?
