- 🇬🇷 Greece is one of the world's oldest and culturally rich nations and Athens is the oldest capital city in Europe.
But not everyone gets to enjoy the benefits of being born here.
In the centre of Athens, I traverse some of the main locations such as Monastiraki, Plaka and PsirriI as well as the Athenian side streets in search of culinary and cultural delights with my friend Anna Tzogia from @athensfoodonfoot2119
Come with us on this food adventure through Athens.

Was a great honour to host! Thank you so much!❤
Thanks Anna for being an amazing tour guide.
Just finished a wonderful experience with this tour. Lefteris is a very knowledgeable and friendly host who truly loves his city and what it has to offer. This was not only a food tour, it was a history lesson on many great places in Athina. Thank you so much to Anna and Lefteris! Well worth it!
Thanks so much for your message. We had a great time on this tour. I wish it didn't have to end to be honest.

Just watched this... LOVE IT!!! Great insight into the city and the foods. Elias is a natural and such a good guy. So easy to connect to. My Daughter's still remember the Greek Australian from a dinner from 2 years ago. Always leaving an impact. Keep em coming. ❤️
Thanks my friend. Glad you enjoyed it. Lots of love to your girls. And happy new year!
Great episode, you ate and burnt calories 😂
I would defiantly join next time I’m in Athens
The onty way to do a food tour. Next time we'll do it together.

🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.
Γεια σου Ηλία"πατρίδα"!!!_Stella(Athenes).
Butter beans are used to make the famous red bean dish. A great popular dish with Greeks. god bless.
Oh ok. I had no idea. I've learned something today. Thank you. God Bless.
Great work, brotha. I wanna eat those donuts. All of em.
Thanks Foti. Tell me about it. Need two stomachs.
They are not donuts though they are loukoumathes...
Little Kook looks amazing in summer...not a traditional greek place, but it definitely adds flavour to Athens City
True. I went inside once and it's as impressive inside as it is outside.
I went to that spinach pie place every morning while there! To get coffee tho. The ladies there are so pretty! And one gentleman w the most beautiful eyes! 😛
I'd never been before, but I will be a regular visitor from now on. Thanks for sharing your story with us.
🌿🌷
Thanks for watching.
The gemista……what kind of pepper was used?
That's a very good question. I'll have to find out.
Can you recommend doing Erasmus in Athens? I heard its dirty and has a lot of pickpockets. Also at night it can be sketchy.
Like with any city, there are good and not so good spots. I haven't been past thst specific street in a while so I can't say. But it's always wise to be smart when traveling. Just keep in mind that Trip Advisor recently had Athens as the safest capital city in Europe in a recent poll :)
Too bad. Nothing about the delicious food of Greece with photos of dishes. Boring
How hypocritical of a Tour guide recommends to stay clear of the touristy restaurants cafes etc. She took you to all the touristy places that every other vlogger mentions other than the place you got the bougatsa from. 😅😅
Do you really think that foreigners can eat koulouria, loukoumathes, meze plates, or Greek coffee in their countries??? She highlighted an immense variety of tasty flavors in a scenic walk & answered all his questions!! I am Greek and this video made me want to take her tour!
Looks more like an African city then a European
Hope you get a chance to visit one day. It's magical.
