I'm so thankful for men that stand up for women. As someone who grew up without a father, it instill much hope and respect when men know how to treat and protect women and kids.
What has struck me most about Graham is that he actually likes and respects women, different from many hetero men who put their attraction to women in the forefront 😊

Nice try, "Sonia". What's your "dead name" ? This is what your side does. Hints, lies, reputation assassination, ostracism, spite, finger pointing, wilful ignorance...I'm sure you can add more. Are you an AGP, or just caught up in the gender cult? Why don't you tell us about YOUR internet search history?
I think ONE of the reasons people don't get involved is because "trans" issues from the outside can seem quite specific and include issues of mental health and medical health, and people often feel that those subjects are ones for the "experts" to comment on. I don't think most people realise that so much of the issue is ideological, and concerns itself with things that we ALL experience and have perspectives on, like masculinity, femininity, stereotyping, figurative versus literal language, how we make truth claims, feeling uncomfortable with what we're told about our sexed bodies and what that means for us, the important of biological sex differences, etc. They don't realise that the ideological aspects of gender identity impacts _everyone._
You’re very right. What’s interesting is when you finally realize that the “experts” are asleep at the wheel on this issue, and it makes you begin to wonder if there really are experts on any subject. But you very much nailed it. People just assume there’s something going on that they don’t get. When it turns out there’s not.
Sasha is pretty naive in her assertions about the ability of comedians to joke about this. The comedy scene has been killed by this. You have to already be famous to "get away" with it. People routinely have their careers ended by theatre staff complaining.
So many great comedians are now on my shit list because of their absolute cowardice on this topic. Charlie Brooker(this is black mirror fodder! ) , Stephen fry, Graham Norton, in fact almost every comedian I can think of, I find them all so disingenuous. . I'm a bit embarrassed for them
@@valsck404 Yeah, but it's genuinely hard to satirise the gender cult. They're so mad that it's just not possible to mock them by exaggeration, and there aren't many jokes in female prisoners getting sexually assaulted or confused teenage girls getting hysterectomies. It's a horrifying cult. It's almost impossible to believe that anything so evil has so successfully convinced so many people that doing its evil is a moral imperative.

1:08:29 I appreciate manly men who protect women’s access to the public square. I am speaking as a female military officer with success in a “masculine” sphere.
No! Don’t you dare remove the fight! 😆 It’s was hilarious because it tells the truth. The reality is that the trans identified man was still physically a man and had male strength. I can’t remember who threw the first punch but it was great to see the reality of the trans identified man being able to defend himself (more than a woman would have been able to…and that added comedy value because you saw someone who looked like a woman absolutely battering a large bloke). It was utterly compassionate and respectful and accepted the reality of identifying as trans more than some tims are capable of accepting themselves. It just points out that trans identifying men are still men and embraces that fact. That’s why it’s sinful.
I want to commend Graham for intentionally turning the spotlight on the women in this fight. I have long, been a huge fan of his comedy work; I became aware of the gender issue around the same time as he began speaking out about it. I remember him tweeting that people shouldn’t just listen to him, and he tagged numerous women on Twitter, the ones at the centre of the gender, critical corner, who I had never heard of, and subsequently started following. He has flaws, as we all do, but he has never tried to keep the glory for himself.
A wonderful and illuminating engagement between three highly talented, sane, reasonable and humane human beings. Their discourse a vivid repudiation of the inhumane insanity of totalitarian trans-activist brutality and obscurantism.
That's it, Stella! For some people, it is like: But wait - there's something WRONG ! Wait now, hang on a second, I need to have a look at this, said someone.....now 5 years later.... BINGO, Stella.
I found Graham before I found Gender a wider lens. I just happened across him on TH-cam. He was doing an interview with a trans widow, Jenny I believe. It was the first I'd heard of the experience of women with husband's who go off the AGP deep end. *Huge* eye opener for me. The widows are demonised as much as parents of ROGD kids. I've been more vested in parent resources for quite a while, and have gotten alot out of your show. I haven't listened to him in awhile, but seeing him here makes me curious to check out his substack :) and his book.
Yes. Vulnerable victims, my arse. My. Arse. Those creeps spend decades studying and interrogating their wives before they decide to become them. Mannerisms, vocal tics, tone, manner, etc. Then choose their coming out with surgical precision, when spouse is pregnant or daughter goes through puberty. We need a massive expose on these awful, awful humans.
Loved this episode. I've heard Glinner do formal interviews, and of course his very informal Mess, but this was something quite different. And I've had no idea he's friends with Stella! A charming conversation. Now that you seem to invite, in a sense, "random" people who got involved with the gender world for no directly obvious reason... Know whom you should get on your show next? JK Rowling. (The scream of your viewers would go around the planet.)
I've just ordered a couple more copies of Graham's book for my male relatives. They used to totally love Graham's work but turned against him because of this utter ideological nonsense. They expected me to agree with them. I was 100% clear that I am with Graham 100%. I explained further why. They'll be getting Graham's book and hopefully they'll read it.. whatever
The story of Humanity with no one at the wheel. Yes, Glinner, that sums up these past few years.... Indeed, everyone absolved themselves of any responsibility.... Let's face it, if this were about women's rights, it would have been smashed down, obliterated a long time ago.... Glinner, you are a useful tool of the universe, it's not your canoe, but you are in it, so just keep it going straight ahead and it'll get to its destination.
The industrial economic engine that built our wealth in global northern countries was not built with the paid labor of women, but mostly the unpaid labor of them. They are also 70% of the working poor in the global south, and had been the largest demography of striking persons in the still industrializing world prior to covid. Women’s rights disappearing is rarely about just economic forces driving politicians toward morality, religion or bias, or even the birthrate in the last century. It's about redistribution of labor. Material gains to be made etc.
@@abcdesholealas i have encountered such bastardisation on a Jung-devoted fb page; they were interpreting the anima & animus as gender identities. Made me want to scream.

I don't know a single person that agree with this ideology, but no one speaks up because they think it doesn't affect them or that it's not happening or is exaggerated and they'd rather not draw any negative attention from the ideologues.
If the Hayes Code was in place, how did Bonnie & Clyde get away with such massive violations? How did it even get made? I can understand films making small violations & gradually eroding the enforcement of the Code, but IDK how they were able to make a single film that so totally annihilates the Code. I'd like to know more about this.
Just a comment. I read last night a criticism of you guys and similar organisations in an article, I can't remember wich one, reading alot at the moment. They mentioned that alot of academics involved in this movement are plugging books they have written. It does look like people are using your channel to generate revenue after having lost their other revenue streams ie jobs because of "transphobic" ideas. I know it is a tricky one but I could see that advertising books that are being sold could weaken what you are trying to do. Just something to think about. A lot of people are suffering. a lot of people with very little to lose are losing what they have - ie vulnerable kids from poor families who are destroying their earning potential when they ruin their bodies and mental health with hormones and surgery. Not a criticism, just something to think about. It might be good to somehow illustrate how people from lower socioeconomic groups are coping with this ontop of job insecurity or unemployment of the household providers. This is not just a middle class problem, I think it's effect on poverty is important
A great interview - thank you. Just one point: I'm sure both men and women can be bullied online (video around 36 min in), and I would have thought both men and women contribute to the bullying. However, I wonder how much the forms of bullying online are those that women tend to participate in more (eg relational bullying)? I haven't seen any data on this and I would be interested to know what the data tells us.
The thumbnail had me thinking there'd be three Irish here. Sasha looks so classically Irish. Could be one of my sisters. (We're Scottish stock, but we look like this)
um Graham...these ideas you have about Disney wrecking the "stories we all share" with "woke" scripts. You do realize that racism was carried forward to the next generation by exactly the same kind of "shared stories", right? I mean, I'm gender critical and I agree with much you are saying, but when you frame it that way, you are peering into a very deep, dark well, aren't you?
Glinner is an activist. I mean that in a good way. The world needs activists, and not everyone tends towards activism. That is why he previously got into the anti-abortion issue, because it captured his interest, and his response is *activism*!
yes, his activism like going onto women's and lgbt-friendly spaces and then publicly posting the profiles of people he thinks look too manly, and receiving a police caution for harassing a child. truly a heroic figure!
@numberonedad maybe that was a bit unwise yeah! But you're mis-stating what he did. He went onto a website for lesbians, and highlighted the males that were on it who identified as women but very clearly didn't look remotely like women. He thought that many lesbians were unhappy about that, and he was making a point.
@@germalina9879 so I didn't misstate anything. You're misstating things when you say the website was for lesbians and that graham identified people misstating their gender. The site was specifically for womyn and LGBT folk. and he did not identify men, he identified people he thought looked too manly. after his "activism" the site released a statement reiterating their support for women and LGBTQ folk, beecause they felt he had mischaracterized their position. Good try though!
It also doesn't go against what I first said which was that he is an activist .. he takes actions to further his pov. Activists on all sides can be wrong (inevitably, some will be). They are still activists.
I really enjoyed listening to the three of you… But… I think what I can’t reconcile is when Glinner says he hates to see women bullied and yet wasn’t it Debbie Hayton who drafted, or helped draft, the school policy in the UK to allow men and boys into girls’ bathrooms and change rooms at schools in the UK? And Debbie uses the female spaces himself?
Do you have a source for those statements? Ideally, do you have a reference to the document that states that policy, with Hayton's name under it? Earlier this week I visited Debbie's personal website. I'm afraid I don't remember the particulars anymore, but I had the impression that Hayton's bathroom standpoints were rather nuanced.
@@hootenholler5105Thank you so much, for your prompt and honest reply. My suggestion: Fact-check this assertion before putting it out there. As a less time consuming alternative, you could at least state in your OP: "KJK says that Hayton ...". In that way, the reader can trace the source of your assertion-with-question-mark. Maybe have a look at Hayton's own website, for his/her/☮️ own current views on bathrooms? And report the results back here 🙂 ? I would be very much obliged 🙏 . ToDo: Unearth the timeline of documents on bathroom school policy in the UK in the last 20 years... (I myself am not going to do that work for you. One reason for that, is that my brain is currently more or less "exploding / overheating" because of the information deluge concerning the gender debate. If ever there was a rabbit hole...). Some ➡️ additional thoughts ⬅️, that went through my mind while typing my reply: I will refer you here, to the YT channel which was an inspiration for me concerning online fact checking: That is the channel of geologist and science journalist "potholer54". He is not perfect either (who is?), but he does a pretty decent job of debunking online nonsense both on the left wing and (mostly) the right wing of the climate debate. His maxim is to trace assertions back to the peer reviewed scientific literature. I submit here, that even this method can be too simple and credulous, because even in peer reviewed journals junk-science can be found. More so in medicine and psychology than in physics and chemistry, I suspect. One reason: People are complex! In that context, I suggest looking with your favorite search engine for (psychology reproducibility crisis). Any online assertion should be traced back to the "raw data". These raw data should then be critically analyzed for their merit. (Potholers54 does present some decent analysis, how online influencers manipulate or misunderstand the raw data and then draw incorrect conclusions). In science, it should be subsequently checked, if the raw data have been reproduced by competing groups, elsewhere in the world. An example of disinformation in the gender discussion, are the rather alarming statistics about suicide attempts of gender-questioning adolescents that seem to be used to blackmail parents and usher their gender-questioning child onto the medicalized pathway of the "trans train". These statistics seem to have been debunked by Michael Biggs from Oxford in: "Suicide by Clinic‑Referred Transgender Adolescents in the United Kingdom", Michael Biggs, Archives of Sexual Behavior (2022). In that article, Biggs gives references to sources of dis-information about suicide. Cheers 🙂
The director of Barbie did the same by inserting a trans woman into the movie. Hollywood isn't helping. These individuals will insist on being recognized in the woman's category at the Academy Awards, Grammy's, et al.
@@numberonedad we do not care if "trans actors" win awards. We care that men (you might call them transwomen) take awards, accolades, resources, safety, and opportunities away from women.
@@soniaess28 i for one think they should get rid of the gender distinction in these categories. it paints an artificial portrait of hollywood, in which women really do get as many juicy roles as men, when they don't really. so i think this falsehood is what's really taking roles away from women, and the concomitant awards, resource, safety, opportunities, etc. this is also why many woman actors refer to themselves with that term now, which i'm not sure if you were disputing. so with that system you shouldn't have any problem at all.

How can you understand the 'Trans Movement' without discussing Rothblatt? Impossible. Wake up!
The part where he talked about seeing someone yelling for funding for trans surgeries at an abortion rally was very telling to me. Progressivism is all about pushing boundaries. Its about pushing the envelope with whats acceptable in society and doing away woth morals. Specifically, Christian/conservative morals. So why would you be surprised about seeing someone protest for funding for trans surgeries at an abortion rally? I really liked the analogy of this whole thing being a self driving car. And i would add that its a self driving car without brakes. Because progressivism, liberalism, wokism, whatever you want to call it, has no limits. The advantage that conservativism has is the fact that its held in by the biblical boundaries that its based off of. Thats why Christian doctrine has stayed relatively unchanged for 2,000 years. Liberalism doesnt have these same boundaries and so its allowed to become more and more radical all of the time. We have replaced our society's judeo Christian morals with a new doctrine that has no boundaries to hold it in. And now, we sit here and act surprised when we see abortion and trans rights being protested simultaneously. Having a doctrine without boundaries dominating society is going to cause harmful things like the trans ideology to come to fruition. Liberals made their bed and so now they have to sleep in it.
@@IAmAster1996What is your take on Numbers 15 : 32-36? "Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him. 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died." (New King James Version).
@@EarthlingEveryman-zv7bs The Israelites had just been freed out of slavery from pharaoh. They had recently been told by God what the laws and regulations were for daily living and worship. The 4th commandment was to keep the Sabbath holy and not to work on the Sabbath. For one of the Israelites to be working on the day of the Sabbath would have been a deliberate act of defiance against God. Hence the punishment. Before the time of Jesus the punishment for sin was death. It sounds harsh to us and our modern ears but it is no less a fate that Jesus himself endured. And he endured it despite the fact that he didn't even sin, ever. His sacrifice was made so that we would no longer have to die for our sins because, he did it for us so that we could have a path to redemption without death.
@@IAmAster1996 Thank you for your reply. I have two follow up questions: (1) Does Numbers 15: 32-36 still apply to all Jews / religious Jews / inhabitants of Israel / ... that are alive today? (2) In your original post you mentioned "Judeo Christian morals". My impression is that there are many different denominations of Christianity and Judaism. So my question is: What exactly are the Judeo Christian morals that all (religious) Jews and Christian people alive today have in common and would subscribe to? And equally important: How much of the contents of the Tanakh and Bible, and of current religious practice in the various denominations is nót part of the Judeo Christian common ground?

You have no pathway towards being Female or a Woman - none exist.
Graham is butchering the Hayes Code, Bogart and Bacall, and “Bonnie and Clyde.” The Hayes Code was a reaction to the very raciness (not ‘racism’) of some films of the 1920s and 30s. Film was headed towards too much nudity and explicitness The studios actually came up with the code. Btw the Catholic Church had come up with its own conservative code. The Bogart and Bacall bit was her saying to Bogart, “If you need me just whistle.” Then she pauses and ask languid and slow, “You know how to whistle don’t ya?” Long pause… “You just put your lips together and blow.” The reply camera shot of Bogey wide-eyed is a classic. And lastly, “Bonnie and Clyde” was towards the end of film censorship. While toe on the ground and two beds for married couples went away, full blown explicit sex never made it to mainstream and the rating system (G, PG, R, X, etc.) we have now is a replacement. Studios as well as TV want to warn people of what might be considered offensive. Or what some folks today might label “trigger warning.” 🫣
Yes and no, on your Hays code bit- The hays code was very much a tool of political suppression and expressly enforced antimiscegnation provisions. Despite the hays code seeming to be similar to a ratings system, it was effectively used as a tool of political suppression as this was the beginning of the labor battles against the studio system, and it wasn't really widely adopted until Upton Sinclairs platform became the darling of the California voters, despite his election loss- his machine got in and passed quite a few programs that scared the monopolies in California for several decades, it's why they gave us Ronald Reagan and SWAT Teams- This is also the blacklist era- McCartheyism did produce a trial of Hollywood and theater writers who became living legends who had to use pseudonyms or history's cowards. And it did end in 1968, but it was self enforced, so there were studios that did produce nonhays code films throughout the era.

You must think it's okay to call disabled people 'retards' just because it's true?
I love it when my favorite podcasters get together. 🥰

@numberonedad it wasn't a "try" it's just what I thought, what I had gathered from what I had read. I have no interest in getting one over on anyone.
It also doesn't go against what I first said which was that he is an activist .. he takes actions to further his pov. Activists on all sides can be wrong (inevitably, some will be). They are still activists.
It’s also why the pre Hays Code movies from the 20s and 30s were so much better than the 50s for example.

(I myself am not going to do that work for you. One reason for that, is that my brain is currently more or less "exploding / overheating" because of the information deluge concerning the gender debate. If ever there was a rabbit hole...).
Some ➡️ additional thoughts ⬅️, that went through my mind while typing my reply:
I will refer you here, to the YT channel which was an inspiration for me concerning online fact checking: That is the channel of geologist and science journalist "potholer54".
Cheers 🙂

@@soniaess28 i for one think they should get rid of the gender distinction in these categories. it paints an artificial portrait of hollywood, in which women really do get as many juicy roles as men, when they don't really. so i think this falsehood is what's really taking roles away from women, and the concomitant awards, resource, safety, opportunities, etc. this is also why many woman actors refer to themselves with that term now, which i'm not sure if you were disputing.

Unfortunately, it is the same bed we all must sleep in

"Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.
35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36 So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died."
(New King James Version).
@@EarthlingEveryman-zv7bs The Israelites had just been freed out of slavery from pharaoh. They had recently been told by God what the laws and regulations were for daily living and worship. The 4th commandment was to keep the Sabbath holy and not to work on the Sabbath.

(1) Does Numbers 15: 32-36 still apply to all Jews / religious Jews / inhabitants of Israel / ... that are alive today?

And equally important: How much of the contents of the Tanakh and Bible, and of current religious practice in the various denominations is nót part of the Judeo Christian common ground?
