The Chubby Chernobyl Fly Pattern Tutorial

If you ever want a foam fly that can imitate so many possible insects, go with a Chubby Chernobyl. It floats, it casts, and it straight up catches fish. I fish it alone or with a dropper. One can soak the wing in floatant or you can fish it as is. Such a great pattern and is pretty durable.

Hook: Stealth Hook D or N series 6-10
Thread: Semperfli Waxed thread 8/0
Tail: Krystal Flash
Underbody: 2mm Craft Foam covered in Frankendub Nymph Dub
Wing: Ep Trigger Point Fibers
Legs: MFC Centipede Legs
