Louis launched "We Made It : Director's Cut", it is kinda like a short movie, it consists of all three music videos and if you watch it you'll be able to see the complete storyline cause it has extra dialogues and everything and it goes according to the timeline.
When watching these music videos you have to see them from the perspective of louis' position in the music industry. The main character (played by Joe Holgate) represents louis himself, they are often seen wearing the same clothes etc , the big man in charge represents Simon Cowell (or perhaps other shitty people in the industry) who mistreat their clients and profit from their hard work - seen many times in the music video with the common motifs being money and abuse of power. In the directors cut version he says to the boys "all you've got to remember, is put your fucking mask on" , which has a lot of connotations i'll let you decipher on your own. Essentially, all the sequences in these music videos have a deeper and personal meaning to louis.
I never understud why you people hate Simon so much. If it wasn´t for him there would be no One Direction. Little respect be nice. I think our boys handled him very well. And if he would be so horrible there is no way Louis would work with him again as a jury for X Factor. He helped them to become the superstars.
@@MissyouLiam76 he’s a good business man, yes. but that doesn’t mean i have to like him. he is known for manipulating people in the music industry and has a long history of closeting gay artists. for this reason alone, i will never show that man an ounce of respect. Nicole Scherzinger put one direction together on the X Factor and then they got signed to Syco records afterwards, i wholeheartedly believe they would have become just as big without Simon Cowell.
@@nimfy. you not actually write. even the boys said and understand that they are where they are because of him. He was the one that gave them best song writers and producers and all of that. Yes he is not the nicest person and we know what I mean but he still gets the credit on what happened to 1D.
boys were under the contracts. Louis was under the contract for 10 years. He had no choice on x factor and many more things. Simon had power over his image and everything else. None of 1d or x factor can talk bad about him because of all nda yet they managed to add small remarks at their concerts. There is also an interview that should be cut out whrre 1d says that Simon controls everything and they didn't know what can they say about his involvement.
Louis’ mind is.. a complex place. Idk how he comes up with these ideas but I KNOW everything is there for a reason. Like even the full story, it explains his own life indirectly even though he made it someone else’s and changed the plot and used metaphors, but he still put those elements that people who know what he’s been through (like us fans for example) can catch on and connect the dots through. I think even people who know who Simon Cowell is and how the industry works can understand it. My comment probably made no sense, but I promise everything will become clearer once you check out the Directior’s cut and pay attention to the plot!

Hahahaha sorry for the confusion! The correct order is Kill My Mind, We Made it then Don’t Let it Break Your Heart. The Director’s cut has all three combined but in different orders, though the same story (clever way) with dialogue in between, so I think that’s why some people messed up the order hahaha. I like that you’re reacting to the songs individually first, to focus on the songs and lyrics themselves, but I’d love it if you checked out the Director’s cut after you listen to the last song, We Made it, to understand the full story of the music videos combined!

Love your Louis reactions! Don’t Let It Break Your Heart Is so special to me; it’s a messsge that came at a time I really needed it. The music video definitely needs to be seen as part of the trilogy; watching the Director’s Cut of all three is awesome.
Yes, I agree on your analogy. This song is just another great example of how Louis has this amazing capacity to see the glass half full. It really has the same message as his first solo song Just hold on. I love it. The lyrics hit me. I really liked what you said about the song. The music video... *lol* yes, wrong order. I understand it's confusing. You should have listened to the lyrics video I think. and then maybe watch the Director's cut.

The video does match witj the lyrics of the song, the song talks about mot letting bad thing consume you, and being able to overcome your problems in life, and in the video we see someone who's being forced to do something he doesn't want to, and being mistrated and all stuff, but he doesn't let that drag him down, he decides to runaway and put himself safe, do something to change the situation. So he jumps, that could mean when everything feels so much he's gonna drown, but he doesn't, and, when everybody think he died we can see that he didn't, that he fought and overcame averything and now he is free. That's how I see it☺️☺️ This is one of my favourite songs from walls btw, thanks for the reaction☺️
this song is my favorite. the lyrics are just so beautiful and have helped me so much. every day when i'm feeling sad i hear it and if i had to describe this song i would say it's like being hugged by someone you love and hearing them saying "everything will be alright"
Thank youuu!!! I have the same reaction when I first listen to this song and the chorus, it’s so good and it’s my favorite song of him! The beat and the lyrics are amazing 💙 I think the order is Kill my Mind (where shows the guy jumping), Don’t Let It Break your heart (where we see why he jumped, the whole context) and then We made it (after all of this, the guy overcomes it and they end up together or something like this, he’s also thankful as you will listen in we made it), maybe I’m wrong, I don’t know. I think the whole thing about this three songs is that it’s not just about love, it can be about life, about music industry or about some different difficult situations that can happen to some people, but they are able to get through, overcoming. You can relate to this, you know. (Sorry if I said something wrong, I’m still learning how to speak English) Please, after finishing the album, listen to his songs Just like you, Back to you, Miss you and Just Hold On.
Okay so. The chronological order in which the videos have been published is Kill My Mind, We Made It and Don't Let It Break Your Heart. Louis then later uploaded the We Made It (Director's Cut), which is a video that contains the three videos in the order they're supposed to be to understand the story, which is We Made It, DLIBYH and lastly KMM. If I'm not wrong there are some extra scenes in there. So what I'd recommend is, after you watch the three videos separately, to rewatch the Director's Cut to make sure you got the story.
Thanks for your reaction.. I think the first is kill my mind then we made it last is don't let it break your heart... steal my girl Louis wrote it... don't let it break your heart the lyrics are so good and catchy 💙💙💙
I love your analysis of the lyrics, this was a great video. I recommend that instead of watching the video of we made it, you see the directors cuts directly so you can understand the story well, since it has dialogues that are not in the videos. Many theories say that the videos refer to the music industry and what artists have to go through with their managers and producers. I would like to see what your opinion is when you see it complete.
Thank you! I think what I am going to do is watch (or at least listen to) We Made It first so I can hear the song and focus on the lyrics and then I will watch the directors cut so I can see the videos played out and focus on the story. I have a pretty good grasp as to what it is about from the comments here but people have mentioned there being added dialogue and such so it will be interesting to see what that is like.
@@suffireax I have never been so happy to be a subscriber to any channel. You listen, take note and above all, take the necessary steps forward. You are growing on me. Thank you sir.
I interpret "we're driving down a one-way road to something better" as optimism. If it is one way you can't turn around and drive away from something better. As you move through life and difficult times, always remember that it will get better because the only way to go is in the right direction. So don't let tragedy "break your heart", always keep driving and you will eventually reach the end of the one-way road that leads to happiness and success.
"One-way road to something better" I think its One Way Road = One Direction , and how the existence of One Direction and the reason why they were in One Direction was because they had believed (or were told) it was going to lead them to better, and they would have something better if they just follow along and stayed in this band.
It's all an analogy of Louis' life, that's why the lyrics doesn't match up with the video clip. The guy is trying to scape from the big boss control so he could stay free and be happy with the girl, they planned a way out and that's why it ends with We Made It. If you know you know exactly what I'm talking about. We all know who the big boss is and who is the "girl".
When asked if there was a story line to the album he said, 'I am the story line'. One can understand these videos if there is some sort of awareness about his story and struggles during the 1D days and after that. These visuals are very metaphorically presented, they tell the story of his life in a very indirect way but if you'd know about it you'll be amazed how brilliant the story telling is. Also the other music videos are interrelated, they're like episodes in themselves and that is perhaps why it's not clear as to what the meaning of the video is.
You got the order wrong. The order is kill my mind , we made it and then Don’t let it break your heart. Or you can check out the director cut that has all three in order.
See why he got so confused in the first place..... This rt here is lazy. U wanna help out? Why not check it first than just digging in and bleating back and forth. Saying this in case of nx time
@@belle1109 was that seriously necessary? Nobody was being rude and the order doesn’t really matter does it ? He’s doing a first impression of the song 🤷♀️. And to be fair he could done the research himself. It’s not that deep
I always thought one way road meant that you can only go in one direction (lmao), and don't go back to how you were? As in saying, things can't get worse, they can only get better.
Just watch the Director's Cut and you'll get what story the music video is talking about. The 3 songs fit in the story. DLIBYH is a great great song hahahah yeah for the first time i've watched also didn't make sense to me, but idk i think the video shows a man trying to get out of that whole situation and it's hard, he's too deep involved with the mafia and robbery stuff, he needs to drop this life but it has so many obstacles in his way, but he doesn't let that shit get in his way to freedom
I think the song have a lot to do with the video, cause he is representing himself and some power holders in music industry, and showing how he have to do a lot of things he don’t want or like, and how is forced to wear a mask to do it, in order to make his dream (in the video a peaceful live with his gf) come true, all this while the song talks about even when life is too hard, you have go trough by yourself without those things you are forced to do/experience breaks you or make you loose your passion. And the end is him tricking those industry heads to believe they ended him but instead don’t letting that stuff break his heart and making it to his dream
i think the "don't let it break your heart" matches with the video (and louis' life) but then the song has been made into a more generic love song with the "if they leave" idk if im making sense im sure the comments under that video or the We Made It: Director's Cut video explain it better
Ahh.. You got the order wrong. Its kill my mind, we made it and then DLIBYH. I actually commented the correct order! 😒. But you can watch/react to We Made It director's cut
Hmm It seems my first comment disappeared? Well. I had only explained the correct order but everyone seems to have done that now. :P I wanna add now that I think you're correct in that the song doesn't have anything to do with the story in the video. I believe I said so for your reaction to Kill my mind. It's 2 separate things. The 3 songs are their own 3 stories while the 3 music videos are 1 completely different story. But all 4 stories can be put in relation to Louis if you want. *lol* Does that make sense? I think it probably would have been best to not see the MV at all in a first listen. I think your mind will automatically try to fit them together but by doing so you might not really hear the song as you pay more attention to the story in the music video. I dunno. You on the other hand did pay attention to the lyrics as you usually do. Not everyone that hear/see this for the first time can do that. So thank you for truly listening. :) I mean I had heard the songs before I watched them but I was still confused by the videos until all 3 were out. The story in the videos does make better sense when you watch the Director's cut because there you watch it like the movie it was made to be and the songs are more the soundtrack. That's why I think getting to hear the songs first is better. THEN you can pay attention to what's happening in the videos. Do you remember what some said the song Copy of a copy could be about? I interpreted it to be about the music industry and I get the same feeling with these music videos. I don't have the same angle most fans might have but from what Louis has saind/hinted at, it is not easy being in the industry and you won't readily get to do it exactly as you want. So in a nutshell, to me the mob boss represent the music industry. AY. Trying not to write too much... I'm sorry I'm going off on a tanget here... but actually, Louis just tweeted yesterday that he has a dream of wanting to start his own management company so he can help new artists. He previously had one, an imprint of Syco but as it was only an imprint Louis really didn't have any real power. So all the artists he wanted to lead through the door, artists he thought had potential got rejected as not beeing ready made artists for a sound the labels want. And that is Louis main frustration with the music industry. That everything has to have a certain type of sound or it is not deemed good enough. It's what he's been fighting for himself as well. So yes. I think you can find some of these things in his lyrics or in this case these trilogy of music videos. Sorry for the long comment. But I find it fascinating how you can find different meanings in things. I could be totally wrong of course but it's how it makes sense for me.
Sounds like directors cut is going to clear everything up haha so my plan is to listen to "We Made It' first so I can hear the song and listen to the lyrics and then I will watch the directors cut so I can focus on the story and what is happening there. I am excited to get to that, I love how intricate Louis is being. Subtly and indirectly hinting at his own life/situation. Very cool That last part of your comment though, wow! I can't tell you how much I love that. Louis taking his knowledge, experience, and resources to help guide and direct up and coming talent so they do not have to go through what he went through is extremely sweet and touching. I truly hope he is able to do that and continues on with that. Record Labels are ruining the music industry and grossly taking advantage of talented artists that probably have so much more to offer. I'd love to see that changed and flipped on its head. Awesome stuff. Thank you for the comment :)

@@suffireax Yeah. Louis has always been interested in helping out new artists/bands. Like Belemo said, he was the main reason 5SOS got to open for 1D on their second world tour. A tour that was huge across the world so yeah it really helped them. And as we have said before, Louis was very involved with 1D behind the scenes. Really pushing their management for their own creative involvement. He may or may not have stepped on a couple of toes. Louis is not afraid to speak his mind after all. He also tried to find and start a girl band with Simon. They held auditions in 2015 and they got a band started. I remember seeing pics of them in a recording studio but it fell through in the end. Don't remember why tho. And I mean, he was on X Factor UK as a judge in 2018. He was mentoring the boys category and it really showed how he took a genuine interest in them, (all contestants really) trying to help with his experiences and giving very good advice overall. (He won with Dalton Harris. He is really great btw. If you wanna check him out here's all his X Factor performances: th-cam.com/video/ZHY5121B_88/w-d-xo.html ) Louis is the best, honestly. Just today I saw an article (written by a Directioner) about how Louis could not sing and don't know how to write good lyrics. Definitely watch the director's cut, it all makes sense and you see what a big brain Louis is!
Fearless is great as well!
Watch the "We made it: director's cut" so you could understand better the storyline
"One-way road to something better" I think its One Way Road = One Direction , and how the existence of One Direction and the reason why they were in One Direction was because they had believed (or were told) it was going to lead them to better, and they would have something better if they just follow along and stayed in this band.
Definitely react to the "We Made It:Director's Cut" You'll understand that story better.
I am picking up those pieces, that makes a lot of sense and is actually very clever. Subtly depicting his own life/story/situation. Very cool
Nicely put babe.
"What the heck" *throw hands* poor dude is sooooo comfuse lollllll
1st comment woah woah woah🥰🥰🥰
This is my comfort song btw💙🥳👑
I love his sound. Really liking the lyrics and music he's making but I didn't get the videos relating to the songs.
No i'ts we made it, don't let it break your heart and then kill my mind!
@@ks-ke4bo for the storyline yes but the way they were released as singles is Kill my mind , we made it , don’t let it break your heart.
As in saying, things can't get worse, they can only get better.
damn i love your reactions🙌🏼
you can watch a short movie " we made it : director's cut" im sure you will love it
Btw i love your reactions xx
I am glad to hear that :)
I love u analysis
You have to watch Director's Cut: We Made It to understand the story as they put it in the correct order there
Just watch the Director's Cut and you'll get what story the music video is talking about.
Please react to Fearless if you haven’t yet! Wonderful song. Maybe Live LT show! Louis is amazing. 💙💙💙
Waiting for We Made It
Then we made it comes in

Ahh.. You got the order wrong. Its kill my mind, we made it and then DLIBYH. I actually commented the correct order! 😒. But you can watch/react to We Made It director's cut
I think this sounds a lot like Steal My Girl too....
Now I understand why they said it’s a trilogy....I guess U will understand the story once U the watch the beginning
Hmm It seems my first comment disappeared? Well. I had only explained the correct order but everyone seems to have done that now. :P
I wanna add now that I think you're correct in that the song doesn't have anything to do with the story in the video.
I mean I had heard the songs before I watched them but I was still confused by the videos until all 3 were out.
Very cool
That last part of your comment though, wow!
@@suffireax fun fact that everyone totally forgot about: Louis was the WHY of 5sos success story today. They were an Australian band ....friends..... who were doing everything to gain attention and posted their video on TH-cam. Louis simply ....randomly..... decided to watch. Really liked them and pitched to ID members and management to invite them to tour with 1D as the opening act. Everyone said yes. 5sos did not disappoint. They were invited back to tour wt 1D. And as they say....the rest is beautiful history.
If you wanna check him out here's all his X Factor performances: th-cam.com/video/ZHY5121B_88/w-d-xo.html )
Louis is the best, honestly. I really hope he will be able to pull this off. But as he said, for now it's just a dream, an idea. Eventually though, fingers crossed. :)
Hahaha I'm early!
❤💙
Its heart ONLY 😅
watch the director’s cut!!
After all 3 videos react to 'we made it: director's cut' that will show the whole story in order
I got from this video that the guy faked his death to get the money and to be safe with the girl. Louis' songs are so good!! Voice, instrumentals, lyrics. 👌 I am a Zayn girl at heart, but all 5 of the guys are very talented!!
We made it was in the middle! This was the ending :(
Please react to the director's cut, you'll understand the full story!!!
React to defenceless!
Just today I saw an article (written by a Directioner) about how Louis could not sing and don't know how to write good lyrics. The person also said that Louis is responsible for some of the worst song by One Direction such as What a Feeling, Steal my girl etc. 'cause he wrote them. That's what Directioners think about him?? She/he also wrote that Defenceless and Always You are the worst songs of album Walls. Did she really hear the song 'cause no one in their right mind can categories Defenceless and Always You as worst song of the album.
Always you is one of my favorites lol I have listened to it many times now, and so has my wife cause that is what I play in the car 😂
I guess everyone has their different tastes in music.
@@suffireax yeah I guess so. But seriously, all the songs mentioned as worst are my favorites 😂....
Dude, you need to watch the “We Made It Director’s Cut!” It will make more sense!!!
For the proper order you can react to the we made it director's cut. It is the most interesting pov louis has ever put out
You should just watch We Made It Director's Cut. That will explain everything
Do you think this song is about Hary?
Labels robbing the artist, controlling their personal life and their public image, keeping them in closet, and they can't speak up, because they are bound by their contracts... so, they are puting everything in their music to deliver messages to their fans (check Copy of a copy of a copy - latest Louis single
