    www.landfishtv.com.au Catching the one of the most sought-after fish (Snapper) in the most liveable city in the WORLD (Melbourne).
    The reason I was down there was due to walking along the docks a couple of days prior and to my amazement I saw a large school of Snapper, me being who I am, I quickly pulled my phone out and started to film the school, unfortunately the footage was not the best but I posted it to Facebook to alert the local fishing community to the amazing fishing opportunity available at the time within the heart of the most liveable city of the world, DOCKLANDS.
    The video of the school of Snapper I posted to Facebook was quickly seen by the fishing community and everyone was tagging their mates. The next day I went down to the area again and noticed many fisherman trying their luck and being SUCCESSFUL in catching a few snapper each.
    Eventually half way through a work shift, I told the boss I couldn’t hold on anymore and I took the afternoon off to go chase the Snapper of Docklands myself. Even that was an adventure, I had to take a tram home get my gear and then grab another tram back into the City. I was that excited that I got on the next tram and it went in the wrong direction, this lead me to getting an uber, sitting in the back of the car and rigging up my gear on the trip back into docklands.
    I used my normal style of fishing, which is fishing with soft plastics to entice a few of the snapper that were there and at points was having double hook ups with the people beside me.

    this is what i love about fishing, the fishing community are among one of the most friendliest people. most don't judge and most are extremely patient with you even if you accidentally tangle up with their line a few times. love this sports and cannot see myself living without it.

    • @LandFishTV
      @LandFishTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on the colour of the fish, if they are lighter and brighter then that will be a fish that has just been passing through and would be fine to eat. Any darker ones would most likely be resident fish and I wouldn't risk it.

    Can I eat the fish caught in Dockland?

      If they look lighter coloured and brighter they will be fish from the bay coming in and are fine to eat. If they are dark and dull they will most likely be residents and I probrably wouldn't eat those ones. (Just my opinion)

    Mercy man! I don't know if the water in Marina is clean! If its clean, I disagree with you! The fishes are very good! Why you drop them back! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

      I practice catch and release to help keep a sustainable fishery for the future.

      OK!👎 I think fishing as hobby it's not the problem! All those fishing boats are! You release how many fishes ? 5.....10......15.....10000! Fishing boats catch 10000 fishes! Here in Greece, spearfishing it's not allowed for month May! Soo what... Fishing boats destroy everything! We are not the problem! The law must change!

    I hope you don't eat the fish you catch from around that area over the years they have had some chemical spills at coode island very dangerous chemicals.

      Same snapper that are caught in the bay mate, they move in and out, they don't live there. Fine to eat in moderation, however I wouldn't eat bream from there as they are residents.
