FIRST TEST on the Nomad 101 - I discover she's got much more RANGE than I thought

In this video we take the Nomad for the first ever sea trial and I was lucky enough be invited. We discovered the range at 9kts is more than double what we thought it was in the walkthrough and get some really great education from fellow Aussie Captain Patricia who is part of the team who oversee the building and testing of the Nomad Yachts in the UAE.
We do not run her up to full noise yet as she was still in the early commissioning stages but we did manage to get a very good feel for the boat and what she will be capable of when she hits Aussie shores later this year.

Thats a huge boat. And seems to be silent. Compared to the engine sound of a 85ft flybridge on my channel this one seems to be quite silent

No such thing as a silly question. We calculated she's got over 2,000NM range at 9kts so i'd so no re the Atlantic.

with the stated capacity you have about 200 hours of run time at 800 rpm... at 9 knots (10mph) or so that would give it 2000 miles of range with about 10% reserve fuel left :)
