I love that he was going fast enough to switch powerslide for 15 feet before the set and his board still cleared it. What a beast. The one he did he had a seriously perfect run up. You could tell he was going to do it the second he stepped on the board.
There's a lot of hype around TJ Rogers part in the new Blind Skateboards Damn... video, and here's why. TJ goes to war with the Hollywood High 16. Switch Frontside 360 down that?? Here's the raw footage of how TJ got the trick.
That epitomises everything great about skating. Pushing yourself, your brothers supporting you, pain, and ultimately triumph over adversity. Good job T.J. Awesome video all the better for being uncut.
No funky camera lens to add the illusion of depth...that was a HUGE stair case and he nailed it. Ive got a tonne of respect for these kids. They put themselves through a lot of pain and never seem to give up, its inspiring.
CleverTricksGames that doesn’t change the fact that his head bounced off the ground.. of course if was a different day, anyone would be gibbled after round 1.
this is still hands down deffinately on my list of top five craziest things ive ever seen done down something on a skateboard mad probs to tj rogers cause that set is huge
Dude. TJ is cool, but he steals clips. I was in Hawaii once, chilling, when I gained access to this secret pool. One thing led to another and I got on the roof! It had perfect transition.. I was trying to put together a sponsor me tape so I needed something HUGE. Across the building about 30 feet away and 60 feet below there was another perfect quarter pipe. The filmer set up his shit and I was ready to roll. As I am riding towards the quarter, full speed, I see this helicopter. Fuck it, I thought. Then, boom, I pulled a freaking McTweest over that copter. Long story short TJ photoshopped his face onto mine. Dude STOLE my footage. Not cool Teej..
doodoo ***** iJohnnyZac Lol, guys, Frontside tricks are almost always easier switch, ask any pro they'll say switch is easier for frontside tricks, I think that same, Front 360 Shoves are SOOOO much easier switch.
***** It's not the flicking with the opposite foot that makes the trick easier, it's using the opposite foot for the Frontside shove part that makes the trick easier. For example, I can't Switch Feel Flip, but I can Switch Frontside 360 Shove It, I can Regular Heel Flip, but I can't Regular Frontside 360 Shove It. That's why you see all of Cody Cepeda's crazy Frontside variations like Switch Frontside 540 Bigspin and Switch 540 Frontside Shove It or Chris Chann's Switch Frontside 540s and Switch Frontside 360 Heel Flips, are all done switch. :) Keep skating, you might see for yourself, but it's not like that for everyone, about 90% of people.
It's showing what these skaters put their bodies through to make a video part. No one lands everything first try. This video is so we can appreciate the effort made and the real skaters who watch this enjoy the landing of it even more because of it.
I love Tj since i find his friend youtube channel like 3 years ago been following since then and when he sw 180 El toro i was like daaamn he is finally going pro , but people ignore that sick trick , but now this dude deserved alooot fosho
if im not mistaken there is a Security Guard at 4:44 on the right side of the screen giving him props after he lands it....he was there for most of the video watching the attempts....dope
i've been skating since 1997, i'm 28 now, my stance is Regular and i've always found it easier to land switch fs 360s over regular fs 360s. for some people it's easier (and feels more comfortable) to do bs 180s over fs 180s. For me it's easier to do bs 180s, so spinning to my right is easier and more comfortable than spinning to my left. (is any of this making any sense?) that's why switch fs 360s are easier for me compared to regular fs 360s.
I'm 16 years old, I've been skating for 12 years, and I like to think that I'm pretty tough, but last weekend I tried ollieing a 13 stair twice and got completely broke off, heel bruise, swellbow, everything. I don't understand how this dude can huck himself down a 16 like this over and over again and still get back up, fucking props!
no, i said that about switch front 3 and back 3 hahahah but what you said is true, some people would prefer switch frontside flip over the backside flip. switch frontside flip kinda bring themselves to your feet and you land regular. plus you're facing forward the whole time.
This is nutz!.....i never thought that would happen in my life..........it's crazy 'n man im young im 24 and i never dream of that goin down....Almost speechless !!!!!
Falls are a part of skating, any real skater would watch this with amazement. I love watching videos with all the slams before the make, like chris coles treflip wallenburg battle, because when they ride away in the end you appreciate it a lot more and can only imagine what it mustv'e felt like
Hits head, comes back with beanie.
yea beanies protect yer head real nice
+Thomas Gorsuch yea from the cold, not head trauma
lmfao helmets are overrated
@@deaner1722 nope they work wonders on head trauma
1:20 that dude with the bike is never letting his kids skate lolol
Real
Sickest trick pulled this year. Forget about all the Street League bullshit, this is true representation of raw skateboarding. My respects to TJ.
this is what i like about skateboarding no pain no gain. props for that patience and determination.
I love that he was going fast enough to switch powerslide for 15 feet before the set and his board still cleared it. What a beast. The one he did he had a seriously perfect run up. You could tell he was going to do it the second he stepped on the board.
Endurance, a sick trick, a perfect landing, and Kevin Romar's reaction. This clip is gold. Tj kills it!
broke his board in 2 places, hit his head, and still went back and got the trick. fucking gnarly
Flawless landing with a perfect hand brush to the pavement, so clean!
There's a lot of hype around TJ Rogers part in the new Blind Skateboards Damn... video, and here's why. TJ goes to war with the Hollywood High 16. Switch Frontside 360 down that?? Here's the raw footage of how TJ got the trick.
crazy
That epitomises everything great about skating. Pushing yourself, your brothers supporting you, pain, and ultimately triumph over adversity. Good job T.J. Awesome video all the better for being uncut.
work goes in, trick comes out
probably one of my favorite clips of all time. Definitely setting the standards. I watch this shit all the time to get some motivation.
No funky camera lens to add the illusion of depth...that was a HUGE stair case and he nailed it. Ive got a tonne of respect for these kids. They put themselves through a lot of pain and never seem to give up, its inspiring.
+PixelPerfect28
16 steps
It's the love for skating! They want it so bad.
I would have quit after that head slam.
totally - he really cracks his bonce
He hit his head because his board broke. The land I believe was on a different day because he had a new board and different clothes.
CleverTricksGames that doesn’t change the fact that his head bounced off the ground.. of course if was a different day, anyone would be gibbled after round 1.
is there any skate video you don't leave a comment on? You are persistent
Kyle Jablowme It's not really persistence, I just watch a lot of skate videos and can't help but share my opinion.
0:45, greatest self motivational speech EVERRR
this is still hands down deffinately on my list of top five craziest things ive ever seen done down something on a skateboard mad probs to tj rogers cause that set is huge
Mad props
I love these uncut videos. gotta love the struggle.
1:28: - 1:33 the guy with the bike sees him hit his head then slowly walks away. hahahaha
Love these uncut video's. Keep 'em coming.
It shows the battle
I love how hyped Kevin Romar gets.
I didn't think this video would get me as hyped as it did. He just kept going for it and every try made me more and more excited for him haha
"I can do that so easy!" This guy is a madman
One of tha craziest tricks I've seen in tha past decade, MASSSIVE!

+jon laRock its a little easier on flat for me but definitely not down stuff
Thomas Gorsuch hahaha wtf can't tell if you're kidding

that guy is a fukin boss
best sales pitch for a skate vid ever! that has got to be one of the gnarliest things Ive ever seen on a skateboard :O props to TJ
Lol he should of said at the end as a joke ' the camera wasn't recording'.
That was seriously spine tingling when he put it down, tj is killin it.
5 year olds can't switch 360 a 16 set.
you dont say
+Bawb17 it's true though
Bawb17 They can back board the rail though
Vic Vinegar Those kids still got balls of steel though 😂
It's showing what these skaters put their bodies through to make a video part. No one lands everything first try. This video is so we can appreciate the effort made and the real skaters who watch this enjoy the landing of it even more because of it.
Kevin Romar Running lol
cant even comprehend this trick my mind blanks out. insane
I don't understand how people can see shit like this & just walk past it. Like wtf?
I'm so happy I found this channel
"i can do that so easy" takes 100 tries
id love to see you give it a try
***** it was an exaggeration, dont get your panties in a wad
hahah ok
thats what makes the trick so much gnarlier. makes you appreciate a trick more.
This clip lives in my head rent free
Love these uncut ones
s/o TJ for landing the unthinkable. He's been putting on for Skateboarding over decades now and is def a hall of famer already
This applies to every damn thing in life. Keep going.

Dude that is insane! So much skill!
Nice I love that dedication to land that trick! Awesome... Never give up
The passion and determination are truly inspirational. That guy is fucking nuts way to put blind back on the map
This clip sealed the deal for me buying the video
The definition of willpower. Awesome.

That was cool! Sick skating!
That was gnarly dude respect!
Tons of dna at the bottom of that set
This is why I love Skateboarding
On the make, you can tell he’s confident in the throw down that he finally had the speed he wanted.
if im not mistaken there is a Security Guard at 4:44 on the right side of the screen giving him props after he lands it....he was there for most of the video watching the attempts....dope
Makes the tricks so much more special when you see them work there way to landing it. This shit was insane!
Only skaters can understand that so gratifying moment in your life when you finally land a trick after trying for so long.
all of you relax and just appreciate the epic trick/progression here
Dude is killing it that was sick
I like the way he self motivates himself. Good job TJ
crazy man, respect dude
that is one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen...

Damn....that is some serious commitment!
That was insane!
I remember ollieng the 12 on the other side...these sets are BRUTAL this angle Does not give the 16 Justice.
oh this is insane 4 sure.
that was so clean!!
Damn circa , crew and Supra. Blast from the past
After a few bails and a snapped board... must feel fucken amazing! Good job TJ!!!!
no, i said that about switch front 3 and back 3 hahahah
but what you said is true, some people would prefer switch frontside flip over the backside flip. switch frontside flip kinda bring themselves to your feet and you land regular. plus you're facing forward the whole time.
This is nutz!.....i never thought that would happen in my life..........it's crazy 'n man im young im 24 and i never dream of that goin down....Almost speechless !!!!!

Fuck yeah! Its an honour to see this
Falls are a part of skating, any real skater would watch this with amazement. I love watching videos with all the slams before the make, like chris coles treflip wallenburg battle, because when they ride away in the end you appreciate it a lot more and can only imagine what it mustv'e felt like
